FurorPaxx Posted February 12, 2014 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Hi guys, In searching the web for an calculator that could tell me how many more codestones I should hoard to reach my goals, I came across a few "league calculators" that generated some baffling numbers for my pet. (I'm not a fan of calculators that don't explain where the numbers come from.) What's a league? Is it still relevant with the new battledome? Rebecca~ Posted February 12, 2014 Share Posted February 12, 2014 It's a way for BDers to evaluate differently trained pets to make 2 player battling a little more fair. When pets are evenly trained across the board, it's pretty easy to see when pets are on the same footing, but when you have lab trained pets that are super low in defence, average in strength, and really high in health, it can be really hard to tell. So that's what the league calculators do. It's completely user made, rather than designed by TNT, and creates leagues to break up BDers into levels, the same way most sports have weight classes. I've seen some petpages that have little icons you can put on your pets lookup stating what their league is, and when the BD chat or BD guilds start competitions, they generally use leagues. :) Lamppost 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rebecca~ Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Basically! :) You can always try battling out of your league- if you're pretty close to the top of the league, you may want to challenge yourself a bit by battling someone in the league above or something, but it gives both parties a pretty equal chance at winning when you're in the same league. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
