So the Holidays are coming up, and I love getting ~unique gifts~ for people, so what are your favorite unique gift websites? Or even your favorite etsy shops and such? Since Neopets is down I am actually going to start gift shopping like I should've done like a month ago >.> and working on my resume but that's not as much fun.

Etsy is fun to browse. The jewelry section is tough to sort through. A lot of premade stuff gets resold there, but I've also ordered some gorgeous rings and jewelry that was custom made. It really depends on what the person likes that I'm shopping for. What kind of stores are you looking for?

Resumes are a pain in the rear

You should see if there's and "book blind dating" near you:

books are wrapped in brown paper, their genre & a light description is written on it, and you buy it, so the cover art/author's name can't put you off.

Second hand books are great presents, I always include them with every gift.

I do like new books, and do buy them (I'm not looking to kill off the book printing industry right now) but I think with so many books in charity/thrift shops, we should be doing our bit.

I too enjoy the Etsy shops, especially the items for your home.

When it comes to gifts for those that have everything (elders) or those that don't have a lot of space (college students), I like to go to the Honey Baked site and send a meal. They have lots of options, not just ham. There veggie casseroles are wonderful and hubby really likes their turkey.

lol, my shop on Etsy. :)

Ok, seriously, Etsy is a real fun place to check out, but for someone who likes dragons, unicorns and griffins, check out Windstone Editions. I collect M Peña's work. Love it. :) www.windstoneeditions.com They have a forum there full of collectors and other artists. Very active forum, we do all sorts of swaps all the time. :)

Ebay is kinda fun to surf around..there was one other neat place but for the life of me I can't remember the name....hmmm... ill have to think about that.. :)

ShanaLogic is great one that has lots of cute jewelry and accessories. http://www.shanalogic.com/

UncommonGoods is great and has tons of stuff ranging from housewares to books to blankets to everything in-between. http://www.uncommongoods.com/

I also really like Tattly but that is a little more specific as it is an entire site for temporary tattoos that are absolutely gorgeous. http://tattly.com/

Obviously, like everyone else said, Etsy is great, but there sites are guaranteed to be genuine stuff and they're a little easier to browse on if you don't know what you want specifically.

Sadly, I don't have anymore specific websites but I do have a few sites that offer lists of tons of those monthly subscription boxes that are all the craze now. I personally think this is an awesome gift, sign them up and have them delivered to the person each month. Just a little gift that keeps on giving, literally. Most sites have options for how many months you want your subscription to be.

These are some lists of a lot of the boxes that are offered. They range from cute things for kids to pets to things that are a little more adult so you could probably find something for anyone. Just be sure to check out some sites for reviews of the services before you commit to make sure they're worth it.

Also, if you spend some time trolling through articles on buzzfeed, I am sure you will find lists upon lists of cool online stores to buy from.

:] Hope this helped!

Thank you!

It's getting close to my partner's birthday, my best friend's birthday & then - of course- Christmas, so, gift ideas are getting pertinent!
