Let's see if I can remember some of them: Lol, and there's so much more that I could list! I know for a fact that I had 3 figure sums of all the jellies and the loveberry, and probably the Illusen stuff too. I find myself wanting to collect things again now, too, even though all they'd do is clutter up my SDB. Do any of you guys give in to hoarding items? Do you have a gallery? I used to enjoy going around and buying every single item 20np or less from shops that I'd come across. One time I had this idea to go through all of the jellyneo database and buy one of each item. I gave up on that after a week :P Sometimes I'll look through it and see if anything of value is lost in my SDB, I once found something worth 5MIL that I didn't know I had. So that was a nice find. Mirandaell Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 On my very first neopest account (I was about 5 or 6 ) I hoarded any baby food items spent over 20,000 a day on just those grub and pea flavors because I thought it was the only food you could feed a baby pet, and to have a baby pet was my dream!My sister hoarded any gelert items, some costing millions and I remember she came home one day to my brother who was very upset with her, selling them for cheap. He donated all her toys, or sent them to random users. (That was before they had pins on things) My sister stopped hoarding BUT I sure didn't! It comes in handy for quests and some of these special events that turn cheap items into things worth thousands. A lot of us made a ton this way. It's just easier to throw everything in the SDB instead of bothering with pricing things every day and trying to sell 1np junk, especially when its food that you could always just feed to your pets later or items that might be useful if there's an event or something. Made the Charity Corner much easier, I can tell you. I'd probably have made a lot more money off that if I had a battle-ready pet and did the battledome every day. Not that I would support that ridiculous artificial inflation that was going on, mind you, that was completely uncalled-for. You SHOULD like pretty things you see here and try to have at least one to look at. I do the same. "Use" isn't the point. Daily items, random events, shop things that catch my eye and I don't have the willpower to keep myself from buying. Yeah, everything goes to my SDB. I remember that in my original account I had SO many items in my SDB :sad02: I miss it. Getting the rubbish avatar isn't as hard as you might think. It just takes time. Go for all the 1 Np items you can get, and make sure you get 10 items a day from the Money Tree. Kute Posted February 2, 2015 Share Posted February 2, 2015 i only used to hoard for the packrat and rubbish avatar.. completed both and cleaned out my sdb right before the Coincidence, just my luck, right?! i didnt bother to hoard after that, and what a hard lesson learned when you fast forward a little more than a year to Charity Corner.. from now on, i have decided for sure and for certain to hoard! i have a weird amount of mint chocolate kacheeks because i thought the price would go up when they were released as a prize, and its gourmet, but no, the new restocking system changed all that so the price will not rise now.. i just leave them in the sdb in case it retires one day.. same story with The History Of Meridell book.. also, i hoard rollerblades and broken rollerblades in honor of my dead boyfriend.. he had been rollerblading for about 20 years.. all 1 np items i see in shops now go into my sdb, and sometimes anything 5 nps and below.. i never sell anything in my shop for less than 5 nps as a firm rule from now on.. i even hoard stamps in case one of them retires! Items: 3,500 | Qty: 19,242 this is my current count from the sdb.. Gah- i cleaned out my SDB right before the charity corner. It was so sad.
