decchild Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 plzsutekcanihavemoretime saved my life on this game. instead of using pyramibread to find more matches, sometimes if I was stuck and needed a bathroom break, I'd pause the game and then come back with fresh eyes. Duma Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Playing Ghoul Catchers for the past few months sure helped me to see the combo's more quickly. I was lucky to get an Ankh to the bottom, but without "plzsutekcanihavemoretime" and making a screenshot to find out more possibilities when I was stuck it wouldn't have been possible for me. I already had the avatar though. The touchscreen helped too, it was a lot faster to click the screen than to go and click them with a mouse. My high score on Sutek is 4856, you can bet that was during a time when the score:NP ratio was far more generous than it is right now, lol! I did at least manage to beat Abigail's score today. marywoah Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 I love this game. My thousands of hours logged on Bejeweled Blitz probably helps... Also, I disagree with the guide! This game loooooves to give me bad boards so I end up using Pyramibread tons. Otherwise I end up staring at the game for 2+ minutes, then I start to panic and it's basically all downhill from there. If you're to the point that you can't find any moves and don't have enough time to type that, it's basically game over anyway. I had to give it multiple tries just to be Abi's score. Oh well, at least the prizes aren't that great today imo... For some reason the Pyramibread cheat wouldn't work for me while I was playing...does anyone know if maybe this only works on certain browsers or something? Or maybe I just missed it? Even saw a beheaded Ollie, though sadly i couldn't get him to the bottom row before it shuffled. Now if only I can beat level 109 in Ghoul Catchers... I was playing in Firefox and it worked just fine for me. But usually you lose more time typing it in then searching. Only use it if you really don't see a combination. Only advice I can offer, for beating AAA's score, is to always be one step ahead, meaning always look/have the next "combo" (three in a row) ready. The more and faster you can make "combos", it will keep/give more time. Also, use the bombs. Those can help with your score and with time, too. Just make sure you drop them vertically. I don't know how people are getting 100k plus scores :whofarted: . plzsutekcanihavemoretime saved my hide several times, but make sure you save a pause so you don't have to waste time when entering code. Also, if your board shuffles, you can leave it for a second and see if you have a match because the screen is transparent, it happened to me during my AAA beating score a couple times and I think it helped a lot. (I'm like 99% sure the timer stops when you're on the shuffle screen) :shiftyeyes_anim: Stupid AAA score took away the joy of getting the avatar. Huh, funny, I prefer to do the exact opposite, because when you get a match at the bottom, chances are you'll get a few matches in a row (because a lot of pieces will come tumbling down and match up with other pieces) without having to do anything for it. I'm not sure if it gets you more points as well (some games like this give you more points when you get a string of matches with just one move, but I never paid much attention to it in Sutek's Tomb), but it definitely helps with keeping the timer full.
