Hi! I had an account a long, long time ago but haven't played in about forever. I forgot my old account but made this nice new one, and it seems to be great so far! It's kat_nightingale on Neopets, if you'd like to be friends!

 

Boy, Neopets sure has changed since I've last played. The side-bar and customization, for one. All the pets look so different! (I miss the old Hissi.) Are there any other major changes? My account on neopets is over a year, but I only play when my schedule allows.Not much time for exploring.

 

I'd like to know about any sort of change! For example, I don't think Neovia was there and Faerieland was in the sky.

Well, KeyQuest and Habitarium were there and then gone in a blink of an eye. Neopets is kinda starting to give up on us I think. :/

Hi, well I don't know all the changes, I'm not that good at keeping up with stuff. The Battledome may have been the old one. That has a new look and setup. Hmm, there is a new game called Aaa's revenge, which can be played on phones, if you ever want to do that. There are some pets where I like the old look better and some where I like the new look better. I think it can be easy to see what's gone and get caught up with that, but many things are still around, such as Neoquest and Altador Cup. We still have Daily Dare as well, that's a bit newer, but something to which people look forward. Also, Neopets has been around for many years, there are bound to be changes. Despite that, I think there is always fun things to do and Neopets is still agreat site! Okay pardon me, got a little caught up there, haha.

Faerieland was indeed in the sky, it fell from the sky during a site event called The Faerie's Ruin back in Sept 2010. During this plot all the Faerie's were turned to stone by a mysterious artefact interrupting the Faerie Festival. Because Faerieland is held up by the faeries magic, without the magic it began to sink and shadowy monsters began to emerge. We were introduced to three new characters with this plot; Brynn a female Kougra Knight, Hanso an Ixi Theif, and Xandra a Xweetok sorceress. Xandra was supposed to of been one of the heroes to help save the faeries, but she betrayed them and turns out she was behind the evil to begin with. Something else you also missed is there's a new mini event that comes about every so often. We've had it twice so far and it's called Charity Corner ran by an elderly Acara named Granny Hopboppin. The first one was in Dec 2014 when we were able to donate toys/gifts to the Toy Drive in multiples of five and for every five you donated you'd get a gift in return. Also 'Adopting a Neopian' was something you could do during this event. After adopting a Neopian each day you would have to decipher the clues and figure out what each Neopian wants. After finding figuring out the clues, getting the items and giving them to Granny you'd get a gift given to you. Each day had a specific prize etc. The following year we had a School Supply Drive in Sept hosted by Granny in which you'd donated multiples of 5 items all with a rarity value similar to each other.
