About Me

I am married and have two wonderful sons.  My eldest son has graduated with a masters degree in psychology and just got his first REAL job (in his chosen field).   My youngest is in vocational high school studying Electrical.  He is a senior and graduates in 2017. I was a perpetual/professional college student (paying the price now with student loans-Lol) so if you have any questions about college, I will try to answer them as best I can.  As far as WHAT you should major in, I have some idea of where the money is and isn't, and I can sort of guide you on how to get there (school wise) spending the least amount of money possible.  (I wish I had someone to guide me).  I was the first person in my family to obtain a college degree, so yes, I am very proud of myself.  I only wish I went for quality instead of quantity.  LOL.  I have an Associate's degree in Human Services, Associate's degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.  Whew!!  I think I got them all.  I am currently a School Nurse.  Contrary to popular belief, we do a lot more than apply bandaids and see children who want to get out of class.  LOL.  Yes, trying to decipher who is trying to get out of their spelling test and who is legitimately sick is a big part of my day, but school nursing is just so much more.  In Massachusetts, school nurses are required to have a teaching license.  So yes, I can teach a math class, but you probably wouldn't want me to.  (I am great in math, I just CANNOT teach!!  Kudos to you teachers out there.)  When I am not working or playing neopets, I can be found reading nursing journals to obtain CEU's (continuing education units--a nursing license requirement), dressing my barbie dolls for display in my home, riding quads/atvs with my husband and sons, working on my mustang with my husband, or making jewelry.  I make bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, etc.  I wire wrap, seed bead, string bead, etc.  I try to keep my house clean but now there really isn't enough time for that, is there?  :rolleyes_anim:

If anyone has any questions (medical, college, neopets, or anything else) feel free to contact me.  I usually check in daily.
