Due to the whole expensive-items-trading-hands thing, the ALP has very strict rules which must be adhered to. Or else.
  • The staff of the ALP ultimately decides who gets to borrow what. All their decisions are final, and must not be disputed.
  • Free lending will rarely - if ever - occur. The ALP runs on a system of low-collateral, calculated by a user's various attributes.
  • We will not go a lot lower than the collateral you are required to pay.
  • No means no, until you scratch up enough collateral.
  • The ALP accepts both pure NP and ETS items as collateral.
  • In the event of an item being stolen (through a Random Event), you will be held liable - collateral will not be returned.
  • Badgering a staff member will not have the desired affect. Begging is also not good.
  • Please be coherent when applying for a lend. Don't use 1337-speak, as cool as it may seem. It is not.
  • Only send in one application for an avatar at a time. These applications cannot contain requests for multiple avatar items. These can get confusing and not give other people a chance to be lent.
  • Applicants must have a forum account - this is NOT your tdnAccount, it is the account you use to post on these forums.
  • When applying for an item, send a PM to TDN Avatar Lending and include your Neopets username. Include the maximum collateral you can afford to pay. The more time you spend on an application, the better it will be. Don't do anything too extravagant, though. The application is only 30% of your chances.
You must agree to all of these rules if you wish to borrow an item.
An outline of the lending process can be found here.
Any queries will be addressed by the ALP Staff. Please PM them to TDN Avatar Lending.
