Last Thursday my SO proposed to me and I said yes! We've already set a date, and I've started to make lists and spreadsheets of different things. Goal is to stay at 6K USD or less (including honey moon). Nay for stress and being a type A planner4 points

I for one won't complain about the extra week. Gave me enough time to (somehow) make it to 21500 points.3 points

If it wasn't for the extra week, I would've only had 8000 points as opposed to 18500.2 points

Hi guys, a little update: I've had a super long day and I'm a little too tired to put up the thread today. (Pretty sure I'd mix up titles, links and stories. XD) I'll update the first post with the new start date. (Which will be a week from today.) This will also give more people a chance to enter, in case inspiration will suddenly strike them. ? Sorry about the delay!2 points

Which team will you support for Altador Cup XIV?
Aquamentis12 and one other reacted to Nielo for a topic
I'm going to stay loyal to Team Terror Mountain. Some "warnings" for those first-timers ?: - You'll get very, very frustrated with all of the games. (The Jelly Chia's grin will haunt you.) - The brackets make no sense. (So while cheering for your team and trying your best is definitely a good thing, don't be too disappointed if your team doesn't do well. Your prizes will be based on your individual scores anyway.) - Just reaching the highest rank (All-Star), usually isn't enough to be able to afford the most expensive things in the prize shop. (I really wish they'd change that.) This petpage will probably be available again soon to use to track your rank, and see how many prize points that rank will grant you. (You can check last year's prizes here, to see how expensive the top ones usually are.) - Stay off the neoboards if you want to maintain your sanity. - If Make Some Noise is giving you trouble (as in, it's lagging a lot), try playing the low resolution version. (I have to play this version if I want to get the qualifying score.) - Each game has a minimum score you have to reach for it to qualify towards moving up in rank. You can check out last year's minimum scores here. - Always participate in the Staff Tournament - it's an easy way to get prizes. - Seriously though, don't visit the neoboards. (Unless you love drama, because then they'll be the perfect place for you to hang out. ? )2 points -
What are your hobbies/interests?

I've researched loads about history, food cycles, war tactics, human migration patterns, linguistics, politics, economics, technological advancement... all in the attempt of writing down a believable 6000+ year fake history for a fake world. What about you?1 point -

You can train at the Mystery Island Training School whenever you like, however it's likely more cost effect to train your pet at the Swashbuckling Academy. The Academy uses dubloons to train instead of codestones and will be a cheaper place to begin your training.1 point

Yes, I did mean 8:30AM. For the record, it's now 3:25PM, and the racket is still going on. I had to cancel my plans for today, and that made me mad! I *will* (Pun intended) see Aladdin this week!1 point -

Mediocrity - My pets got hurt. Excitement - I lose 243 NP for spinning it, Knowledge - Spin again -> Hint that I already knew. Monotony - Still spinning. Judging how the other wheels went, I don't have high hopes.1 point -

I never go to the neoboards unless I had a quest. Thanks for all the helpful tips, @Nielo, I'll bookmark those pages. Same. I have a mechanical keyboard too so someone is going to wonder what I'm doing ?1 point

I'm glad it ends tonight! I think the extra week was an extra week to long. It should have ended when it was originally supposed to. Yes I know it gave everyone that extra time for more points but that's just how I feel about it.1 point -

So whilst Dailying I get a visitor. And while I KNOW this is in no way related to the super-elusive new Dump avatar... I still can't help but feel I must go check it out! ? But seriously... Gravy. Exciting? ? I shouldn't be so judgey xD I love how boring Meridell is portayed as being, potato counting... ? But wait... Having just finished reading an espionage thriller, the dump would be the PERFECT place for spies to exchange information, it totally would! one person dumps the stuff, someone else collects it... piece of cake! Micro-films and hard-drives concealed inside dung... LOVELY!! I wonder what's really in that gravy...1 point -

I have both of them as well thanks to the perk last year. What I'm wondering is this: So, an increase of 200%? So anything that has a chance of 0.5% or higher would mean you automatically get it? There's only two of those 4 that I need (Edna and Snowy) and I have no clue how low their chances are, so I'm not really sure if it will be worth it to spend 3k points on it. I'm really sad that Deserted Tomb, Brightvale and Aisha Scalawag aren't in the list ?1 point -
Space Faerie as a battledome challenger?
jellysundae reacted to Scoobert_Doo for a topic
Take a look on the "Avatars/NeoSignatures" NeoBoard, located here: http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/boardlist.phtml?board=21 Sometimes, individuals will make a topic of either asking for a code, to get the Space Faerie as a challenger, or one for giving away codes. A very kind Neopian gave me a code, on such a board (code give-away), and I eventually got the avatar (used the "Throw Pillows" method). I haven't seen as many boards, recently, but, you never know.1 point -

The good: Some of the new perks are pretty cool We'll be able to spend our leftover points from 2018 on this year's perk shop The bad: The new method of donation is a major pain in the butt. Points are not being displayed properly "Atsumi" is just Mirsha Grelinek with different clothes No NC perk this time around?1 point -

That's Van Gogh's Starry Night-inspired, isn't it... this is ALL @Angeló's fault. ? Having just seen @Robin Hood's zapped Polka Dot Shoyru though, I'm reserving judgment about this brush; because said Shoyru has made it very plain to me that a naked pet's colour can look a bazillion times better once they're fully-customised! VS. I've always been DEEPLY underwhelmed by the Polka Dot brush, but this looks flippin' adorable! So yeah, I suppose I now need to try and make the Bun's new colour work, don't I... ? Though I did manage that pretty EPIC look for the Oil Paint Scorchio, even if I do say so myself1 point -
