Spritzie got a reaction from cuddl3bunny907 in Official Neopets down/having issues board
As you may have noticed, Neopets has been having an abundance of issues today all over the site. (Which they're working hard to fix.)

This is a thread that you can post on now, or at any time in the future, if you're having issues with Neopets and want to know if anyone else is as well. This way, you can come to this post and not have to hunt for a thread on the subject.

Please post here instead of starting a new topic. Also note, this is a thread for the discussion of issues happening on the site, and isn't meant to be a general chat board while it's down or experiencing issues, so please stay on topic.

This topic has been edited by a member of staff (Spritzie).
This topic is regarded as high importance by site staff.
Per the reason above, this topic has been PINNED.

You'll just need the item "Robo Eyrie"

    This is the item:

I have a unhealthy (for my Neo bank account) petpet habit.

I have a really hard time picking favorites, but as far as species in general, my favorites are the Kookith and Orbulon.

Colors, my favorites are faerie, birthday and valentines.

You can find everything you need for the form on the Sharing tab:

The link for animations would be the one found under the Outfit Page part. That links to the outfit's page, which allows you to see the animations. Like this: Outfit page

I'm not sure what size Deb prefers, but the outfit image can be found on the same tab, likely the Medium image size. You would just copy the url and either paste the URL in the form, or use the Image option in the message to paste the URL and it will show the image.

As far as coding option, using plain is best if you use the easy editor for your posts, instead of seeing the actual code (The little toggle button is the top left grey light switch button), since you can just press the button that looks like a picture and paste the URL and it does the coding for you. If you just paste urls in the non-BBC code viewing version, it will automatically make it a link when you post/send a message.

I think we all have weird little things we do when involving the Shop Wizard. I've been known to do the same thing you do.
Personally, when I'm searching something, I tend to avoid shops that have a ton of that item, even if it means paying a little bit more. I don't know why, but there's just something I don't like with shops that have a ton of one item. I also buy based on username if there's more than one with the same price.

Spritzie got a reaction from charelan in My friend takes FOREVER to respond
I never used to be, but I've become the person you're describing and I have exact thing going on with my best friend. We're know each other for years and write back and forth as much as we can. Sometimes our messages are so long, the messages actually take hours for both of us to write. Sometimes we replied to each other once a day, sometimes more than once. Then other times, things were going on life got in the way and we had little check-ins, but the actually long messages would take days, weeks or even months.
I hate to say it, but I was the first to disappear really. We had small messages in between, but the long messages mostly stopped from me. She knew, and she knew why. (I won't go into a lot detail, but I had the rather sudden death of a parent and it just changed everything.) As much as I wanted to reply, there were so many times when I just couldn't find the mental and emotional energy or strength to reply, to write much of anything beyond the surface statement of "I'm here, I'm alive and I'm surviving." Sitting down and focusing my mind for any amount of time was nearly impossible for me most days. My mind wouldn't cooperate, at least not in any helpful way. My mind always went places where I had to shut it down, just to make it through the day.
It's been nearly 3 years now, and I'm still not back to normal. I don't shut down as much mentally or emotionally, but my attention span and ability to focus has still never recovered.
The best I can say, is be as patient as you can for yourself. Her feeling the pressure to do things she's not ready for might make it even harder for her to be able to reach out. That was one of the best gifts my friend gave me during the worst. I never felt the pressure to be as present as I was, but from her words, I knew she cared and I knew she missed me and was there when I was ready. I would get little "Hi hope you're hanging in there, thinking of you" messages, but there wasn't the expectation to reply. I did when I could, but I couldn't always. I know it was hard for her, but her patience meant a lot to me, knowing she was there and was waiting and understood. It was one less thing I had to feel guilty about when I already felt guilt for so many things, real and imagined.
I used to wonder why another friend couldn't bother to reply to my texts, even a quick, I'll get with you soon, but now, being on the flip side, I understand how much energy just a simple text can require when you're in a bad place. Sometimes, just seeing texts or calls from people that were friends with my mom, I just can't cope. I've never been a call or text dodger, but there's times when I don't have the energy, and before I know it, I never did reply, or call back. It's not malicious, or purposeful, it's something that just sometimes happens when things aren't going well.
But you do have to take care of yourself too. If you're hurting too much, I'd try to pull back on your expectations from her. If you can't do that, then you have to do what you need to for yourself. The friend I had that never answered calls or texts and I never understood why. When I stopped waiting for her to reply or call back, and just kinda of figured that's how it would be and she'd get to me when she could, our friendship was easier. It wasn't to say it wasn't still sometimes hard or upsetting, especially since I've known her my whole life, but it made it less stressful and I was able to fully enjoy the time we spent together.

Were the items you tried that didn't work, coffees? I had a few like that and all of them had coffee as their type.
Also, if they have (Special) listed under their name in your SDB, they aren't a rarity that will work.

It has come to my attention that there isn't such a large variety of items with the name "Shenkuu" in them, which is making things a bit difficult some of you and also resulting in somewhat similar entries (New Years in Shenkuu Background and Nightmare Shenkuu Dress are being used a lot). There actually are quite a lot of Shenkuu themed items, but the trick is that you have to look for other terms. A lot of you already know this, but I've decided to make a list with some suggested items for those of you who may be struggling with this: http://impress.openneo.net/user/32355-The-Runway/closet

For anyone that doesn't want to use the WLs because there's a lot there:

    Red codestones
Any books (I give books to one pet first, anything she has already read trickles down to my other pets)
Any petpets (I save duplicates that are already in my gallery in my SDB for painting whenever I get Petpet PBs)

Sorry it's so HUUUGE, but the thumbnail was too small to actually see anything.
This amazing masterpiece (lol) was made using watercolour crayon (and sharpie!!) on canvas for the background. Everything else (planets, characters, weirdo background flora) is made from individual layers of construction paper ... with more crayon and sharpie of course. (For instance, nalelan's character is actually about 8 different pieces of paper... I can't draw, but I can scissor :) ) Anyway, I have never embarked on an artistic project prior to this, but I can't believe how much fun it was! Maybe it'll be a new hobby??

Just a reminder to those that have wishlists with mostly unbuyable items (100k+) or have had a lot of items bought from your wishlists, check your lists and if possible, make sure there's things of a variety of price levels so there's plenty for people to gift you according to their budgets.

If there's nothing specific you want under those amounts, think about maybe adding codestones/books/Neodeck cards or items you might like collecting a lot of, like some that collect Shiny Obsidian
