Hi, my apologies for not getting back to you both until now. The last couple of months have been super busy for me.
Some of our pets are housed on side accounts and I have been having issues getting into a couple of mine. Emily and I are hoping to have pet lending up and running soon. We appreciate your patience!

I love changing my hair colour to suit the challenges I'm going through. I have medium dark brown hair and am no stranger to bleaching my hair and going platinum blonde.
A couple of years ago during the pandemic, I bleached my hair and colored it purple with blue underneath and blue highlights. I wanted to show my fun colourful side. Last year in January I coloured my hair the blackest shade I could. I did this to show the darkness I feel on the inside. It was a great way for me to work through my struggles and start to heal. It's still a process, but this change helped.
This may not be your general form of self-care, but I enjoy gaming with many friends online from across the globe. Chatting together and working as a team helps me to escape all the drama I have going on and gives me some socialization. If I'm unable to do this, I start to go to the dark place. It's not so much missing the game but missing the comradery.
My ultimate favourite form of self-care is a long hot shower!

What is your favorite form of self care? I’d have to say that hair care is my favorite. I cut my hair short recently and I have a pretty solid routine.
I wash my hair every other day and only condition my ends, let it air dry and comb to make it all nice and fluffy! I don’t use product. I find that skincare is my 2nd favorite.

For me it's cooking for myself, for sure. Sometimes it sucks to be hungry and tired and still have to make something, but sitting down to my own food feels like the ultimate self-care. It's like a, "Thanks for looking after me, Body! Here's your reward." Feels like the food is almost more nourishing that way haha

The reason things are becoming inflated is due to the "Charity Corner" aspect of this event. People want to take advantage of everyone's need for the higher rarities and skyrocket the price. It's a shame really as it ruins the event for people which is why in past Charity Corners, I've only done what I felt as the bare minimum. Now that we're only able to donate 10 items per day makes things a bit trickier as I have been hoarding piles of dung in my SDB for this such event.

Remember to go to your preferences and turn off Trudy's Surprise for your side accounts.

A new Neopet species would be fun, but ultimately I don't see TNT adding any new species; it's a lot of work, especially considering they need to be compatible with every wearable clothing item. Not to mention the bulk of Neopets' revenue is from Neocash clothing items, and when the artists (who are already stretched thin) have to draw those clothing items for every existing pet species, ...
(Sorry, bit of a pessimistic reply... but a new pet species being a lot of work for the artists is more or less why they stopped adding new species in 2006 with the Lutari, and only added the Vandagyre in 2014 - 8 years later!)

We are just as annoyed as you are! We are doing everything we can to stop this from happening and have all anti-spam protocols in place, but they're still getting through. Ian is investigating what's going on and hopefully, we can get this sorted out soon. I wish it was as simple as beating them with a broomstick! Hang in there everyone! 💝

I thought they were done as well but they've restarted unfortunately. We've all been trying very hard to keep them out and all of their profiles are being investigated by Ian. He is doing everything he can to find out how they manage to get around our anti-spam protocols so he can fix the loophole.
I myself am also using the unread content button all the time so I feel your pain! Reporting is never a waste of our time, but in this case it's pretty obvious so we would see it without the reports too, you don't need to waste your precious time, just don't worry about ours 😉.
Just know we are doing our very best in keeping the forum clean and in trying to keep them out.

This is a little late but if you're still wanting to keep this going I'd be happy to help, possibly taking turns in hosting each round might help as well. Prizes for contests are also allowed now by TNT so I wouldn't mind offering prizes for winners too. Might help people get into participating, maybe winning like a clothing item or NC item could be fun 🙂

Hi all,
Pet lends/chains are being suspended until further notice. With all of the changes that have come about in the last little while with pet slots, transfer limits, and site access/security, we'll be doing some updating to our pet lending process and procedures. Anyone who has a current request in will need to resubmit once pet lending resumes. 

Item lends will be continuing as per usual.
