I don't have the time to put into beating AAA's scores this year, so I'm all Abigail.  Which I am completely fine with because so far I like her prizes better.  In fact, today I easily beat AAA's score but I like that Kou Jong Rubics Cube better so I challenged Abigail anyway.     Although, Zurroball almost made me throw my lap top....

I'm so tired of making potions...  It's the same thing everyday.  This plot has completely lost my interest.

Okay.  So.  What I have gathered from all these posts, is that I can battle all I want, but I still can not unlock the other two achievements.  I'm going to bed!  LOL

Yes, you can unlock the chest with any number of misses, but to get the achievement you can have no more than 3.  3 should still get you the achievement.  The spear is an achievement reward from battling the wraith.  5 times on hard, 10 on medium, 20 on easy or some combination thereof.
Supposedly one person got the ectoplasm.  It may or may not be a hoax.

The items from this new negg would be great for my Moltara customizations.  I like the smaller prize pool as well, all those items are great.  And cue the internal battle on buying NC or not...  lol
 
Edit:  Whoops!  Spoke too soon!  Hate those shoes and of course, they were the first thing I got.  I also got Negg Shaped Terrariums.

 
They don't work on my pets yet so I have no idea what the look like.  lol  Fingers crossed for the other items tomorrow.  I guess you can only dust the eggs twice a day.

Peopha looks very pleased with her new frock! The willowed dress most definitely works better on some pets than others. The long legs of the lenny enable it to look particularly good.

But I think it looks the absolute best on the ruki

Not considered before that the ruki is maybe a very good shape for customisation, if you want to dress them like an 18th century lady, at least, lol. That tiny waist paired with the big butt works perfectly for the big poofy dresses.

Yeah, I miss her, too. I thought she was a unique perspective to Neopets and how they "celebrated" the Easter holiday. Having a faerie hide neggs, instead of a "bunny", I thought, was neat and different and refreshing. Topsi looks like Reader Rabbit in a bad Cybunny costume.
I also miss looking for 10 neggs, vs. one. Yeah, sure, I always came here, to TDN, to find them quickly, but it seemed more of a hunt finding more than one.

I do too! Not only did it make more sense, she was more familiar and had that original Neopets "look". This Topsi fella looks more like some off-brand nonsense to me 

YES!  I love Festival of Neggs!  I got the book, which I'm totally happy with.  I usually splurge for the NC portion of this event but I'm not too thrilled with prize pool situations that make you spend more money than intended.  We'll see though.  Have fun everyone!

Does anyone else miss Kari? I always thought it was more creative to have the Negg Faerie hold the festival rather than a Cybunny

I also tend to hoard stamps (and books) in my SDB. They're consumable, so my logic is that the value is bound to rise if you wait long enough.

I find that in general, the Advent calendar has something for everyone- remember that even though you guys might not like the prizes every day (or even most of the days), throughout neopia there's lots of users who collect whatever is given out. For example today's prizes would be great for people who collect eyewear or sunglasses, bruce-related items, guns or snow-related items. Don't worry, there'll be plenty of prizes that you both like I'm sure. 
 
I personally don't like getting books in the advent calendar. I don't read them to my pets or sell them, they just sit in my sdb because I won't use up single-use prizes. I prefer plushes/toys and wearables. 

The Snowager is now hibernating! Yeah! Have fun getting stuff! Also, it looks the Winter Starlight Celebration page is up, too.

Or at least the time of year I wouldn't miss on Neopets for anything. Starting out strong with a wearable, it makes me think of Skyrim.  For the bonus I got an Orange Chocolate Snowflake, which I needed for my gallery, yesss

I totally forgot that today was going to be the start of the advent and I freaked my BF out when I got excited to see it in the dailies line-up, let;s just say I'm a Christmas FREAK!

BTW it's absolutely adorable to see the Snowager acting all father-like. Look at that little Jr. Snowager.

YES!!  I always look forward to Advent.  I really like today's prize and the animation.  Super cute.  Hope that helmet looks okay on at least one of my pets.  lol

I did it! Even with work difficulties, I managed to complete all the scores needed on the day of release (even though I don't think that matters for this challenge set). I had a lot of frustration with Igloo Garage Sale game because I just had so much lag with that one. I actually really like the game. I had 699 on my first try before lag had me crushed by a piano. It then took several more tries before I was able to get the score. I also really didn't like some of the other games previous days. But, all set! I'm excited to see what the trophies and the end prizes are. The stamp and the Kookith were already quite nice!

I went with Villains not realizing that meant more action games as opposed to puzzles (which I'm better at).  Ah, shazzbot.
