I'm just inside the doorway of rank 16, I'm fairly hopeful for hitting AS, it depends on whether my motivation goes into hiding again at any point. xD The numbers get so demoralising once you reach this stage. ^_^;;

I managed Kaia's murmuring thanks to @Scoobert_Doo's explanation, thank you muchly, my good sir!
But I can't get beyond this. I saw the light faerie message pop up. BUT, I only know it was from a light faerie because of looking at the guide on JN, as the box disappeared before I had a chance to even read it, let alone click on it, lol, so, I don't seem to be able to get to the chest now? I can open the page for it via JN's link, but, it changes to the HQ page after a few seconds, before whatever's on that page can load. I have disabled adblock already.
I'm stumped at the moment.
Whoa, EDIT!!! Hold the presses, I figured something out for myself!
I went back to Kaia and found that by clicking on my answer to the puzzle it took me to the place (that was good of JS!)and the light faerie message showed up again, so I could click on it this time and get to the chest!
Page still wouldn't load, but it at least let me stay there, so . . progress?
Eventually something happened and I saw it was a MASSIVE ad stopping things, so I enabled Adblock again, refreshed, and now I'm looking at the chest!
*triumphant music*

Yes! I zapped my Shoryu, Princess_Imaginative and that resulted in a gender change! I had to keep zapping until it changed back. Thankfully, when the gender did finally switch to female again (which felt like a month later), she was still a Shoryu, but a Christmas one. It was around October or November, so I decided to keep her that way through the holiday season. And then proceeded to keep her that way for another year or so because I couldn't decide which color to repaint her as.

this year i met my goals and achieved Rank 18 with some nice Stats ... i love the Gold on Red shield with Shenkuu colors :)
 

And... this year I got too busy to play.  =/ I guess that is a part of being an adult. I thought I would have more down time on vacation to play, but I mainly ended up helping my parents move.  Hope everyone else met their goals!

That must totally be from my single game of YYB played yesterday!
I did move up to Rank 2 from playing SOSD though, so I wasn't being entirely useless.

I have not been playing as much as I would like! I am shooting for 10 YYB games by the end of today. I remember liking SOSD better last year anyway. :) School got kind of busy (had to resubmit a big paper); but now it's just summer work, which is like normal work hours.
I am very confused by the scoring, too. I haven't tried to understand it. Maybe that's the best way to go.

And this is why I don't even TRY to understand how the scoring works!

Shenkuu for the win!  I heard a rumour that we were favourites this year, apparently.  I don't actually know if this is true or not but it does feel like more people that I speak to have joined Shenkuu than last year.  Mind you, I talk to more people now than I did last year too.
 

Bit strange, got the same thank you items (which I'm gonna discard) too.
Seems glitchiness abounds once again in fair Altador!

Those snatchy little devils have lost none of their skill at grabbing the ball out of your hand immediately in the past year! (or should I just be honest and say I've not magically got any better at this game? )
My first NP-earning game of the year netting me an 11-1 score though. Was actually my second game, but on that first game I got a faerie yooyu as the second ball so immediately refreshed, I can't score with those to save my life.
3 games of Yooyuball and 3 of Shootout Showdown are a quick additional 4400 NP to today's earnings though.

Yesterday I saw on the Events neoboard lots of people saying there was a glitch with loyalty prizes. If you registered for a team before about 12pm NST, you were awarded last year's prize instead of this year's. Many people were upset about it because the prizes get quite valuable once you get up into the 8-10 year range. If you're already used or sold your incorrect prize, I'm not sure there's much you can do at this point. But if you still have the mistake prize, you can submit a ticket to get your correct prize. Someone else may know more about this, I haven't signed up yet x.x

I was Team Shenkuu last year for my first AC, and I think that is where I will stay.  It feels right.  I started strong last year and then got completely blindsided by life.  Here's hoping that this year I can do better.
