Same, AND been trying it with the pinata thing, too. Also getting my pets back from "extremely happy" to "delighted!" is such a pain- used to be able to click a toy multiple times hen refresh, now I have to wait for it to refresh each time. The X work around works just fine but it would also be nice to not have to work around it in the first place.
 

Howdy ya'll! I have a confession. I have, like, zero interest in almost any NC item, even wearables. I hate the idea of spending real life money on Neopets but over time I've accrued some NC wearables through site giveaways and freebies. 
Below is a screenshot of all the NC items that I currently own. I'm pretty sure they're all giftable! If you see one you want, all you have to do is be the first one to NM me asking for it! Do NOT DM me on TDN to ask for them- I'm only here once a week or so to go through dailies and I won't see your message. I'm pretty sure I can only gift one NC item per day, so it might take me a few days or even weeks to get to your request. Still, I promise if you're the first person to ask for the item (only one item per person, please), you will be the one to receive it. If you aren't, I'll let you know and let you ask for another item. If you want to skip this process, just NM me a list of which items you'd like, and I'll send you whatever item you want that hasn't been claimed yet.

I did this maybe a year or two ago and people seemed to really like it! But I learned a few lessons on how to most fairly run this, so that's why these rules are here. If you'd like to thank me for this giveaway (which is totally unnecessary but always welcomed), I'll be throwing up a few junk trades soon. Feel free to bid with a donation item or NP amount!

Howdy! I've recently re-started doing the Food Club to make some NP. When I check my betting history, it shows that the past few days, I've won NP on my bets. But when I go to collect my winnings, it says that I don't have any.

Am I missing something? I haven't done Food Club in a long time so maybe something has changed, but it used to be you could collect your winnings every day. Maybe it's broken? Any help is super appreciated!

Ok so maybe (probably) it's either I haven't used the toy fixer in so long that I'm out of the loop or I'm looking too much in to it and it's a total coincidence, but-

Today is my birthday (thank you, thank you, last year Blink-182 was right about "nobody likes you when you're 23" so we'll see what 24 means) (jk jk) so I've got the whole site design thing. I've been on pretty infrequently the past few years but recent research shows that likelihood for random events supposedly also goes up on your birthday- no luck there this year.

I snatched a bag of broken neopoints from the donation tree and went to the toy shop on Terror Mountain to get them fixed. Now, last time I did this, many moons ago, getting a bag of broken neopoints fixed was a hit or miss- it was entirely possible you'd pay more to have them fixed than what was in the bag.

But this time, today, I got this message:

Now, like I said, maybe it's that I haven't used it in so long, or maybe I'm overthinking a coincidence, but maybe, just maybe, I've stumbled upon a hither-to undiscovered birthday perk ?

I think it's worth it if it's something you occasionally save for- I would never withdraw 100k from the bank to play it, but I'll save my Trudy's Surprise NP and trading post NP up until I get 100k, then play. I'm not an avatar collector and I don't play the Battledome that seriously, but I've won a few PBs worth over 100k and if I win 100,001, I deposit it all!

I think it's worth it if it's something you occasionally save for- I would never withdraw 100k from the bank to play it, but I'll save my Trudy's Surprise NP and trading post NP up until I get 100k, then play. I guess a little bit, but typing up a response to a thread that you have interest in is different from doing the same tedious thing every day or every other day. Like Sinvanor said, some computers are just slower and it takes a lot of time to feed however many items to each pet, wait for the window to lose, wait to open a new one, then do that for however many pets you have. If you're really so worried about the NP, then it makes more sense to save your self the time by just putting them in the Lodge for a month at a time. Cheaper, cost efficient, and time efficient What's not to love?

Since Trudy's Surprise has become a thing, I've collected 21 Basic Gift Boxes. I don't have anyone that I'd want to gift my few, basically worthless neocash items to, and they're just cluttering up my inventory. I know I can't just discard them, but there's gotta be some other way to get rid of them, right? I's just bugging me that even if I wanted to, I couldn't have a completely empty inventory.

I don't even know what I'm hoarding all the NP for- I bet if I eventually found something worth spending it on, I would have such a hard time parting with the NP I wouldn't even buy it. I always tell myself I'm saving for dubloons, but I've been here for so long without Smuggler's Cove opening, it all seems for naught. So I just continue saving- and it's a vicious cycle.
