That may have been the new arrival to TDN I sent over to this forum feed. She said in a welcome post comment that she wasn't going to do a wishlist this year but wanted to gift people, it may have been her,

Hi guys, just a reminder again for the sake of keeping the thread clean: There's no need to post multiple "updates" posts. You can edit one post with all your updates. I've deleted some multiple posts so that people's wishlists are easier to find :) 

I wasn't saying something so that people would send me a gift back, although I do appreciate it.  In some cases, they'd already sent me a gift first.  I really was just worried that I'd messed up people's usernames.  They're not always the most straightforward of spellings and such!  I didn't want people to miss out on their gifts.
 
 
Do I sound anally retentive if I mention that I have a spreadsheet set up?  Actually, if you knew me in real life, you'd know that this is a feat of rather remarkable organisation for me because I'm generally pretty hopeless in this regard but I've been finding spreadsheets so useful for keeping track of a whole bunch of neopets-related things.  Like which of my four 'main' pets has eaten which gourmet food - so much easier to keep track when I can go to one page and see all four at once and I'm looking at food names and not images which I don't always remember the exact names of.  I really need to set one up for which books my pets have read but that will be a much bigger job so I keep putting it off. 
 
Anyway, I set one up right from the get go for this and it has really helped, although you do have to actually enter the information into it for it to be effective and occasionally I've gotten all keen and gifted a bunch of people in a row and then gone, "Ah!  I forgot to put them in the spreadsheet!!  Who was it again and what did I give them?"  It's been easier with the gifts received, because they're sitting there staring me in the face.
 
 
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has updated their lists or let me know in some other way that you received my gifts.  Now I can relax. :thumbsup:  (I was looking for the *phew* smilie where it wipes its brow, but it doesn't seem to be here  :sad01_anim: )

The log in/log out didn't work for me. I had to clear my cache and it worked immediately after that.
 
In the mall there is a yellow section on the left with a bunch of links. Click on NC AMOUNT and a drop down with the Transaction Log will appear :D

I don't really have a wishlist...  :mellow:  (Anything really works. You know, as long as it's not junk. Mm, that made me sound really ungrateful. You know what, send whatever. Or don't. I don't really care. :P )

This means quicker and more affordable lends through the Trading Post for anyone wanting to borrow a ZDAP. In case there is an influx in borrowers, we have also added three new plushies to our stock to help accommodate everyone.

O MY GOD! I've been on hiatus since hiatus, and on the morning I come back, I've got 2.5K stocks in TRSC, which suddenly is 79, 3750 stocks in PEOP at 130, and 3K stocks of NAKR at 73. Today is a good day :D

It's been so long since I've been on these forums, but I just had to share this cool piece of news with all you lovely strangers. I've got my last appointment at the end of December just to make sure, but it looks like I won't need to go anymore! I'm super excited about next year and feeling so much better.
You guys have always been so lovely and I'm gonna start posting again :D

The only way you could gift an NC item to another user is with a gift box. These are being given out from Trudy's Surprise randomly so if you play that daily you should be able to snag at least one. Another thing you can do is hold onto it, the NC doesn't expire for a year. Usually Faerie Quest cookies go on sale for 50% off so you could get one for 50NC and use it to get some faerie quests to train your pet.

Actually, I have made quite a bit of NP without actually playing 24/7. Here are a few tips:
 
Stock Market (buy stocks at 15, and wait...and wait for a long time. Patience is needed here) Food Club (as mentioned above, make bets every day, losses will soon be offset by wins) Easy Flash games (check our dailies page for easy 1k games) Battledome (15 items/1k NP daily limit but you can get loads of codestones and sometimes even PBs) Trudy's Surprise (no effort needed, amount increases daily) Dailies also but that requires a bit of luck. Just do these every day and you'll see your NP start to accumulate :)

So August 1, 2015 is the 2 year anniversary for Crisis Text Line! It's an organization where people from around the US text in for support; whether it's stress from family or daily life to addictions, honor violence, and suicidal thoughts. It's been an honor to work with the team they have because not only do they love what they do but they encourage their volunteers. There are plans in the making for Crisis Text Line International which is SUPER exciting!!! More recently all the texting fees have been waived by 4 big cellular companies! :) 

These still work, I haven't past the water plant yet, even with this, but someday I will.

My parents made both me and my brother do chores. Neither of us liked it at all, but we had to. At some point there came some encouragement where we had a tally system, and you had to get a certain amount of tallies each week. Each chore had a set amount of tally's, so doing the laundry would result in more tallies then setting the table. If you didn't just reach your weekly tallies, but went over them (so you did more tallies than you had to), we'd get money (I think like 5 eurocents per 10 tallies or something, it really wasn't much, but back then we got an allowance of about 25 eurocents each week (it'd increase at your birthday with five cents). 
When we got too old for this, my brother and I both got our own chores of our choice, but in such a way that we did about the same work. Seeing as I completely despised clearing the dishwasher, my brother would do that, and I would set the table and clean it afterwards. Another reason why I didn't clear out the dishwasher was because I couldn't reach all the shelves in our kitchen, so my parents would have to help anyway, and it was the whole point that they wouldn't have to. 
 
We don't really have anything like curfews (there's not a lot going on in my town at night), but when there would be a party and my brother would go, my parents would worry a lot less than when I'd go out. Luckily, they both are feminists, so I have this amazing argument that goes like this "But my brother could do this too when he was my age". And then they'd change their mind. 
 
The only point where my brother got it better than me was with the money my paternal grandparents put on our saving accounts. That had nothing to do with gender, though, but the fact that he is the eldest grandchild. I have two cousins (one male, one female), and they got the exact same amount as I did. When my grandpa died though, my grandma gave the three of us the money that my brother had gotten and we didn't, so in the end it didn't even matter.
