I've been working on that too. Besides my fiancé and family, only some close friends of mine know I still play. lol

I find it MOST amusing that they're basically openly admitting to the uselessness of any item categorised as a gift with the wording in the news for this gag.

I did try it... it just takes you back to the friendship dome page but you get to keep the rose :)

I got my dream job of teaching English in Japan with a prestigious program! This isn't technically my first full time job, but it's the first full time job I've had that'll actually pay anything worth mentioning. I think I'm a real adult now XD

I agree with a lot of the people above me. You should definitely be more gentle with yourself. You're not crazy, and you're not making bad decisions. The things you are feeling about him are totally valid. It sounds like a large portion of the reason that you're not over him is because you never had a clean break. He has always been in and out of your life. Even if you weren't officially together, at times you were still sort of together. So it definitely hasn't been three years. 
 
If you are looking for advice, then I have two pieces of advice to offer you:
 
Firstly, I would recommend that you remain out of contact with him. Obviously, I am not you nor do I know the full context and history of your life. But based on what you said in your post, it sounds like you might need an extended period of time away from him in order to heal your heart. So I would really recommend ignoring any communication you get from him in the future. 
 
Secondly, I would recommend speaking to a counsellor. I know a lot of people are hesitant when it comes to therapy, but personally, I've found it very helpful. (Although my reason for seeking therapy was more related to a specific mental disorder caused by trauma.) My psychologist always recommends that you don't try and push away your feelings. Instead, you should allow them in, recognize that they are there without holding on to them, and then let them flow away. All while maintaining steady and rhythmic breathing. It sound fluffy to some people, but its actually pretty helpful.

Is your laptop running Windows 7? If so, a way you can determine what's causing it is by disabling the feature that automatically restarts your computer every time it happens (meaning you'll have to manually restart it after) so that you can write down the error message.
 
For Win7:
Open Control Panel Go to Systems and Security Click on Systems Click Advanced System Settings Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings Uncheck the box that says Automatically Restart under System Failure Click OK on the first and second windows I'm not very familiar with Windows 8/10, so it may be a little different. 
 
Machines new and old are bound to have crashes from time to time, so don't sweat it unless it happens frequently. If it does happen, jot down the error message (most times all you need from the actual screen is the line starting with *** STOP:  and then google it to find a solution. 

I must have started my first Neoquest file over ten years ago. Tonight, I finally beat it. It's actually a really weird feeling. I've spent at least half of my life playing this game on and off, so it's a really big deal to me that I've finally seen a game through to the end.

This is absolutely the BEST community, I would have to say on the INTERNET period.  Not only is everyone willing to help with their neopets knowledge, but they are willing to GIVE you pretty much whatever (and I mean WHATEVER) it is that you need that they have lying around in their SDB.  I have even had people buy items for me for quests etc.  But it isn't only Neo related.  This forum is here for life related issues too.  If you have health concerns, family problems, school issues, or whatever.  If you don't even need advice, but just someone to listen to you, someone to vent to, TDN is ALWAYS here, 24/7.  Someone is always online.  I can't think of one time I posted anything and someone didn't respond to me.  At least ONE person has always responded to something I have posted.  That is phenomenal.  

Everyone is so kind, compared to other game communities. No one seems to care very much about possessions or social ranking here. It's like a big family. I love it

I couldn't decide whether this was necessary to make a post about in the forums and I decided it was. I wanted to thank everyone in the Neopets community for being so welcoming and giving. I didn't come to the forum with the intention of receiving gifts, but people gave me welcoming presence and gifts. By me stating things that I want to save money for, just sharing what my goal is, some giving folk on Neopets has helped me with advice or used their hard earned Neopoints to help this Neopets noob.

I've been looking for a job as a chemist since I graduated in October but never getting any responses to the applications I send in. Then suddenly I got an email inviting me for an interview and then today they emailed me again to let me know I got the job. It seems like there is so much competition for jobs these days that it is really easy to despair that you will never get called back.

I've recently been trying to get into restocking and couldn't find an up-to-date guide, so decided to make my own, by listing every item in a given shop, and stating the profit that can currently be made.
 
The completed shops I have so far are: 
Neopian Fresh Foods,
Chocolate Factory,
Tropical Food Shop, 
The Bakery,
Neopian Health foods,
Magical Bookshop.
 
Currently working on:
Unis Clothing Shop, 
Grooming Parlour.
 
I'm posting this for 3 reasons:
1)Because I don't wanna keep this info to myself since it's pretty useful, and would help alot of people when trying to restock :)
2)I'd love any feedback anyone has on this, go ahead and let me know what you think!
3)This is a big project to say the least. Especially since it needs to be kept up to date, and I'd happily accept help from any friendly neopets users, however you don't have to help me out in order to use it at all! It's just a big project, as I said :)
