My favorite has been the grarrl. It's the neopet that I grew up with as a kid and still is my favorite. But Eyries have been a close second for me. Dislikes though I haven't thought about.

It took me a while to understand how the firing works. The mechanics is similar to galaca; you can have only two bullets on the screen at a time. Of course, the PterPod (green one), PterBoom (purple one), and FireBall(red(Orange?) one) shoots multiple shots at a time, excluding the pod, which shoots a laser at max level. To shoot faster, you would want your bullets to disappear as fast as possible (either by leaving the screen or hitting an enemy) until one or none remains. To maximize this, try to stay in the middle of the screen so you have enough time to react to enemies but gives your shot enough time for your missed shots to leave the screen. When you progress later in the game and too much enemies are heading your way, you can start to move lower, just be careful for the grarrl that could from the bottom.

Each year there are several factions that cheat, using bots to send in multiple scores at once, for instance. TNT has never adequately responded to the cheating - they tried freezing accounts a few years back and I believe that last year they disabled ranking up for a lot of people. The problem is, in both cases, it appears that a lof of non-cheating accounts were also affected, with little to no response from TNT on resolving the matter. (Hard to prove that those players who claim they weren't cheating were telling the truth, of course, but many people I saw complain on the neobards were long-term players with normal scores/ranks, so I'm inclined to believe TNT messed up).
I personally prefer playing games on my computer, but who knows, it might be nice to play them on my phone for a change.

I know how you feel. I used o hit no farter than 375m. but it is possible to unlock the bat. have you tried using the spacebar instead? It makes it so much easier for me.

last to post jokes aside,  i would like to say that i have made two achievements in neopets in the last couple days.

1. I have made my first major transaction with a chadley stamp i kept for a while. 
2. if you look at the game pterattack, you will see that I have the second highest score. I would give proof but i can't add two attachments.

The obelisk war is a recurring event where you chose a faction. On Thursday, you will have to go to the battledome and fight enemies from other factions (computer enemies, not actual players). You have to fight a minimum of 10 times to receive the the end prize. on Monday, one clan will be announced the winner. The winning faction will have a boon (a site effect) that lasts 1 week. After it is over, the event starts over again.
