Oooh, how I enjoy this particular event!! I am a member of The Kindness Project, where we have a similar thing going on all year long, so if anyone else really loves gifting, we might be the guild for you!
My wishlist is enormous, full of items of all types and price ranges, and is a work in progress... I update it constantly to ensure no duplicates. I also do keep a 'sent' log, just because I like to be organized. I typically do not post my sent items logs, but it is available upon request if anyone's super curious.

Good luck with this project! Teachers honestly don't get enough thanks for all the extras. You will make a big difference to these children by caring so much :)

I don't have a penny to my name so I sadly can't help, but I have a good friend who's (also) a teacher in Florida (I'm guessing there, going by your user name) and I've donated to her DonorsChoose projects in the past. It's pretty heart-breaking when a system is such a mess that a teacher's only means of getting funds for equipment is donations from strangers.

Unfortunately, that "trick" no longer works for "new" books - books created since 2015? (2016?) (Not 100% sure exactly when). Neopets stopped translating books/items into other languages, which is why the trick does not work. If you change the language on Neopets, and the book keeps its "English" title, or the book completely disappears from your inventory, then it has not been translated, and your pet won't be able to read it. Kind of a bummer. The book you mentioned, "Toy Box Escape Book", was released March 31, 2017, per JN. So, it is a newer one. This Neopian Times Editorial may explain it better (Neopian Times Editorial, Issue: 704, 23rd day of Collecting, Y17):
"Hi CQ, since certain books and foods can't be read/fed to our pets, and you stopped us from changing language to do so, getting a trophy is now completely impossible for most pets. Is there any way to change the trophy system or to make sure every pet can read/eat every item? Many of us love to read and feed, and to now know that our efforts will never be rewarded makes me (and a lot of other users) really sad. Is there something you guys could do about the avatar HS list as well? Since there are so many retired avatars it's almost impossible for new players to get anywhere near the top. Also, CC was absolutely amazing, loved it! I really hope it's a yearly thing. Much love :*~ cinnamon_girl"

So first of all, I want to clarify that the workaround is not usable for newer items because we are not translating new item names at this time, we did not change anything with older items, so that method still works for those (although it's not encouraged). This has been the case for a few months now; it is not something we suddenly changed this week. Now, as for the quirk of your pet not liking certain items, we will discuss changing those restrictions to make it fair for all pets. Also, we're glad you loved the Charity Corner!"
So, there is "hope" that the restrictions will be changed (but not holding my breath).
And, as far as the book disappearing from your inventory, when you change the language back to "English", the book should be back/appear.
As far as easier was of changing the language back, it seems to "stick" better, if you use the link from the NC Mall. Not sure why, but it does. If you use Firefox, you can delete the "language" cookie stored on your computer, within the browser, and that is another way. I can let you know, if interested. I haven't tried with Chrome, though.

Hey all! I just wanted to quickly clarify something BEFORE I accidentally broke a rule. From my understanding you are allowed to have a shop on a side account ONLY if it's dedicated to a guild correct? For example, a guild donation shop would be okay on a side account? I know the rule is you are not supposed to make neopets on a side account, but I thought I read somewhere that this was alright in the case of the guild.
My other question is if this is alright would it be okay for me to transfer the neopoints from that account to my main to buy the item or does it have to be bought from the side account and given by the side account?
The situation in question is my guild's Fountain of Kindness feature in which we give out items requested by members in the guild. A large part of our revenue comes from the shop that is currently on my main, I take the NP's out of there and buy the item's that our guild member's have requested or reimburse the council members that bought a specific item. So I'm wondering if that would be okay? Just want to clarify every aspect before going and possibly switching a donation shop to a side account. Thank you!

Also for those who may have trouble this game can be pretty easy if you know when and what to press, I used this video 
 It helps you know what Pet you should use first and when to use them, I almost have a max score using this guide, just have to keep practicing, I don't play it that often so that's probably the only reason  I don't have a max score O.o

It provides a walkthrough of each level. Unfortunately you can't really follow along with the guide as you play, but read through each level's explanation a few times before playing it and you'll have an idea of where to go and what you're up against!

Are you using the links @Musical_Shoyru posted on 8 November 2014, on page 7 of this topic? If not, give those a try. The links in the first post of this topic no longer work, as they were posted before the server move, when Viacom still owned Neopets. The links changed after JumpStart purchased Neopets, and moved everything to a "new server(s)". Good luck!

OK TDN Buddies, this is a great day for restockers and collectors alike! Every shop at Half Price?! I am picking up Collectable Cards-since most stamps that I need are UBs or ultra-expensive, but I do check back and forth at the Post Office. Also I go and pick up medicine- magic cookies, medicinal soap, scrambled eggs, etc. and then check on the Faboo Uni Shop...
