Yeah Prytariel is the main reason i first joined Terror Mountain back in like 2009? I know i wasn't in the Altador Cup when HW, DC, RI, and KI won. I had considered Faerieland (lol) and Darigan Citadel, but aishas are my favorite breed and Terror Mountain had one as a captain, plus i've always liked ice spells in video games, so i went with them. If Prytariel ever left, I would love to work with Moltara cuz Kougras are my next favorite breed, thus i like Aldric Beign, but i admit i'd like to be with a team that's stronger...maybe Maraqua or Kreludor or Meridell.
Don't be discouraged if we don't do as well next year; there tends to be a "Winner's Curse", plus we have been one of those teams who spent a good deal of time in the lower-middle pack. We've never been last though. ?

@AgJu You still did pretty good this year!  Even if it wasn't this year that's still crazy that you managed to quad-max. I always thought double or even triple was crazy hard, but quad?? That's really impressive. When i had time to play the cup it was usually at night, when these outages have been happening in my time zone, so i did missed some game time  although i did reach all star so i'm not mad, but i can understand if others are. (Although it was nice of them to give us two days for more points)
I joined Terror Mountain in 2017 and will definitely stick with them in the upcoming years. I've always love Terror Mountain as a location, the team colors are my favorite and i love the look of Prytariel and that shes the captain! I hope our team finally gets the win  ❄️? ❄️

they've brought down the max number of sends you can do per game since then, but still....its not something i'd consider doing again anytime soon. lol. Drove me crazy.
 
This year, my regimen was 20 games of YYB per day (except on a couple days where Neopets' connection was being doofy, which is why i ended with 411 games), 6 games of SS, 48 of MSN, and 144 of SOSD. i did it that way cuz 6 games of SS is equal to 1 of YYB and 12 of MSN or SOSD is equal to 1 game of YYB. Plus i'm someone who needs structure or i get a bit aimless.
i might try and play a little harder next year, especially if we won this year (i know i posted a picture showing us ahead of VP, but i'm waiting til the actual announcement before really jumping for joy); the "winner's curse" is still mostly real (just look at how Tyrannia fared this year), but i don't think i'll quad-max again.
i'm glad you were able to play hard for Terror Mountain. Think you'll stick with us? I'll be going with TM again next year, no doubt, unless Prytariel gets traded to another team or leaves the competition entirely. XD

Neopets announced additional play time for the Altador Cup due to the sites recent downtime. Scores can still be submitted but team ranks will be locked and not change.

@Scoobert_Doo My big goal was to just make it to All-star and i got there 3 days before the cup ended. My mini goal was to play more games of SOSD (Last year was 3,153) and this year i got to 3,410. When i saw i played over 3000 games last year i thought i was crazy and didn't think i could reach that again  but i forgot how fast the games go by through the month.
 
@AgJu WOW!  I salute you  I could never imagine playing 1000-let alone 4000 games of Slushie Slinger!!! I played a whopping... 24 games this year

As far as quad-maxxing.....i dunno how it did it. it was five years ago, during Summer, i didn't have school or a job and Terror Mountain was juuuuuuuust starting to gain traction in these things so i felt compelled to go go go and had all the time in the world to do it. I guess i just felt like challenging myself to see if i could and once i did it one day, i had to do it the next and the next and the next, and then when i found out about that Absolute Corruption page that tracks everyone's overall performance and being able to see that i was on top, i then felt compelled to KEEP that.
The max number of games you can send in a day has dropped in the following years....i think back then you could send a max of like 1200 games of SOSD, for example, while this year its 400? There's also a minimum score to hit, so you don't have to play the games ALLLLL the way through, which REALLY helps with Slushie Slinger....i'll post a pic after this and it shows i did FOUR-THOUSAND games of SS; definitely would not be able to do that playing all the way through. Anyway, for SOSD, you only need to score one goal for it to count towards your rank, so even with 1200 games a day, that can be taken care of the quickest, by far. MSN, you just tap the keys til you get about 3000 points, hit space, and send. SS, what you would do is start a game, switch to a different tab to play a handful of games of MSN (or SOSD if you choose) to wait for the initial wave of customers to build up, then fire off those slushies til you hit the min of 285+ and send your score.
 
YYB was the only game i would play all the way through each time cuz it carries the most weight (or so i feel) and i liked the bonus of seeing how many goals i could score.
All in all, it took me about 12-14 hours a day, for like 30+ days, which is why, even with the lowered max over the years, its not something i plan on doing again anytime soon (to say the least).
The trophy is on my user lookup (AC IX), but here are pics i took just to capture the "glory" lol
 
P.S. I think Neopets is being poopy again today. Anyone have yesterday's results?

I'm happy to see that Terror Mountain is in the top 3 so far, I've never been on a high ranking team before.  I picked Terror Mountain because when I looked at the "Which team will you support?" thread Terror Mountain was the top one.

i was only shooting for All-Star status and i'll have that after tomorrow, so yes, my goal is met.
The Overall Standings show us still in second, even though we're first in our bracket right now and were second in the Round Robin (with VP 1st in RR and currently 4th in Bracket), but i'm hoping VP can drop a few games and we can shift upwards; Maraqua and Kreludor definitely have what it takes to knock VP down a peg, but we might also need LD and DC to steal a game or two (while we stay strong, of course). We've always been on the cusp of achieving greatness and i would really like us to FINALLY grab that top spot, especially with us having the best overall record this year.
 
Edit: Maraqua edged out VP in yesterday's match, but VP remains second in the bracket and first overall. I don't wanna be the bad sport who roots against another team, but I want Terror Mountain to win so please let VP drop the rest of their matches. lol

Anyone needing any encouragement? I know we are getting near the end, but wanted to make sure everyone is doing ok. TM is looking great! I don't usually get excited about our overall standings, but, following with what AgJu said, could this be TM's year?!

with Virtupets' scores sliding a bit lately, even losing at MSN a couple times, is it still possible for us to squeak by them and take the top spot? I guess it depends how we handle the bracket portion....they'll need to drop a few matches there and we'll need to hold up against the likes of them, KD, MQ, LD, and DC

This is how I feel, after maxing out YYB (46 games), a day. Sarcastically, of course...

I’m also glad we’re done playing Kiko Lake at the moment, for some reason their npc’s are more aggressive to me then other teams?

I vaguely remember this happening in the past .. but not in recent years (at least for me)
However I had this weird glitch where after scoring with the Supersize Powerup , my players remained HUGE and didn't shrink back to normal .. they sure scared the other team 

From time to time, an opponent gets a (VERY annoying) Darigan Yooyu into their own goal. Nothing too special. But today they threw a ROBOT Yooyu into their own goal! That's never happend to me before and got me pretty suprised. XD Did this happen to anyone else?

I was hoping for more of a cotton candy look for the Jubjub, but I am pleased that they at least used two different types of candy to make him. I think that today was a great day for Jubjubs. That outfit makes me want a Jubjub almost enough to find one to adopt, but I am not ready for another pet right now. I am bookmarking that outfit for future consideration. 
So they can make glove looking shoes for the Jubjub, but we still have to pretend that two normal looking shoes magically turn into one sock for a Hissi? Neopet logic is beyond me.
