I think they worded that question very poorly. You see, people in the Battledome chat have been asking TNT/JS for years to add a 4th difficulty to the battledome, a difficulty that increases your opponent's HP every time you beat them. This is how the Battledome worked in the past, but this HP increase system was replaced when the battledome was revamped, and now we just have three "static" difficulties.
Just to clarify: battlers don't want to replace the new system with the old one, they want to have them both, as in, they want the HP increase system to be optional.
The problem is that JS doesn't really explain this in the survey... and what's worrying players the most is that maybe the staff will get rid of the new difficulty system when no one actually wants that.

No, I don't think wockies are.  They just asked how pet days in general worked.  So IF a pet is a limited edition, then that's part of how their pet day works.

JN's trading post history is pretty good for that. You can see other recent trades, which can help if the price history hasn't been up recently.  

I'm going with Seekers as well this time around. They were my original team so... it kinda feels nostalgic to go with them.

Does anyone here still need the Brutes Avatar though? I haven't signed up yet....

I'm a little skeptical of the Brutes' actual odds, since they have terrible boons and probably not many people want to fight for them. I don't particularly care to fight for them, since even if they win the boons are useless to me. I'll probably go with Seekers.

There was another from this year's AC that's also 14, but different icons, but now I can't remember what it was called, so I can't look up the price.

Well, I think they are now rather conflicted about what their target audience is.  I think it's more teens and older who are more likely to be able to spend real money on premium and NC.  Apparently the original target audience was like college age (the age of Adam and Donna) but because cute little virtual pets and faeries and stuff were so in then, they became popular with kids, and then they went with it.  But then the kids playing grew up, and they weren't the cool new thing anymore, so they weren't as popular with younger people.  So now I think most of the players are older, but they are still trying to be a kids site, but also not because again, it's not the kids who have money.

Well, there are certainly some things that go for that much.  Stamps and top of the line battledome items, for sure.  Even some books and gourmet food, probably.  But I'm not sure about a neohome item.  Maybe if it were to complete a gallery.  There are some items that there are only a few of available, and so people would probably pay a lot to get those.  I don't remember this promotion, so I don't know how difficult it was to get this item, and thus how many there'd be in existence.

Kid Cuisine postcards sounds like it was a very limited edition run.  Rare items can be very expensive.  And it's a neohome item, which some people still do, so that gives it some versatility beyond galleries.  However, their price history says that a couple months ago it was 30k.  So that sounds suspicious.  I'd hold off on selling, so that you aren't accused of price fixing.

I think it was a case of anything DTI classifies as is:pb.  That's why the usul bow that they didn't correctly mark as usul only was able to be used.  If you want to consider it more from a neo perspective, then any clothes that come automatically with a color, that you cannot remove from your closet (except when transferring a pet wearing them).  Mutants could have counted, they just wouldn't have been able to wear any clothes. 

I've been on a bit of a roll today! Managed to obtain 4 avatars (Chocolate, Imposter Apple, Spacerocked and Nimmo's Pond) and entered the Storytelling Contest for the first time. Going to see if I can possibly manage one more game avatar for #245 ^^ yay for today!!

Lights in darkness is awesome.  It really should have been a background/wearable.  I wish they wouldn't waste these great items as gifts.  Other than gallery items, there is no use for them.  Uggh!

But, since you've paid real money to get the faerie quests, for sure finish the quest and get others, at least until you get another fountain or grey.  Because you won't get a do-over if you miss cookie quests.

Yes, however you can only have one fountain faerie reward at a time.  So, if you get another fountain faerie quest, you'd have to use the reward first.  Also, the grey faerie gives reward from any faerie, so that could also give you a fountain faerie reward.  If that happens, and you haven't used the first, you will still only get to do one dip, not two.

Yeah, that makes sense, but I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to play again without a prize. Some people do it for the enjoyment/challenge. 
Personally I don't use the damage/haste/slowing potions at all. The damage and slowing work at such low frequencies that it seems like a total waste of a turn (and of the gold you spent on them). And I don't see why I should spend gold on haste potions that only work on one character when I could have Mipsy hasten my whole party for free. So never fear, it's entirely possible to play your game without them. Instead spend your gold on better armor/weapons, make sure you're stocked up on healing potions, and keep a few resurrection potions on hand in case things really go south.

It's not as powerful as it was before they nerfed it. I suppose I just thought of the weapons as decent prizes rather than pointless rubbish. I didn't consider them being too much for a plot's first prizes.
