I don't need the neggs I just wanted to comment and tell you what a nice thing your doing. I collect neggs and have already put the 1st 2 into my gallery and I'm guessing the 3rd will be going in sometime tomorrow. I did use my neggs but to be honest I wasn't overly impressed by any of the gifts I received. Maybe my expectations were to high. I do collect (hoard) all BG's wigs and wings among other things so I most always keep the items I receive. Anyway, thank you for your generosity!

I was very disappointed with the prizes I got in the mechanical neggs, I definitely regret spending the NC.  Due to all of the stresses and not spending money on anything other than food I thought this would be a safe way to treat myself, but I was dissapointed.  I know I could have looked up the prizes before committing, but the last event like this in December was so good I gave it a go.  Thank you for your generosity though!  At least we got to keep the neggs,  I am a negg collector.

The Sunny Side Up Negg is the Negg you need to use the dust on for the NC event. The three Neggs that were presented to you when you found Topsi are the Neggs that don't show up in your inventory. You need to pick one of the three each day and you get an item from them. I'm not sure if you would get a Sunny Side up negg on day 2 if you either didn't get one, didn't find Topsi on day 1 or discarded the Sunny side up Negg. There will be other NC neggs during the event as each NC Negg only rewards 6 prizes.
If you really are missing the Sunny Side Up Negg, make sure you didn't accidentally put it in your Safety Deposit Box.

I voted for number 2 because I feel that pose is more in keeping with the way pets are portrayed in the plots and other pictures on the site. Plus, to me, dresses on the Aishas, Wockies and Kougras just don't look right.  I would prefer more "action" poses for all my pets.

This post is to thank all of my Neopets fam on this forum for helping me out through all of these years and to say that Neopets is my "therapy game" and you are all awesome people. How has Neopets helped you through tough times?

I agree with you about Neopets and this forum.  It is a sweet little place to visit and get away from the nonsense in the "real" world.  And it is a safe place to comment on life in general, if you want.  Welcome back.  I hope you will continue on with Neopets.  I've been playing since 2001, thanks to my children.  They don't play anymore, but I am still here.  It is a nice escape for me.

Bayinah used to be a speckled tuskanniny, then I made her into a strawberry bruce and it still wasn't right. I put her in my side acc for months. I just brought her back to main and gave her a transformation!

Like I wrote in my post, there are several morphing potions that, most of the time, are way cheaper than the paint brush BUT if you've decided to go for a specie alone then between Ruki and Quiggle my favorite is Quiggle 
 He looks great as Halloween as well! If you want to buy it later.

For unpainted pets I'd suggest maybe Lupe, Eyrie or one of the frog based neopets, although a ghost or Halloween neopet would look better, if you can get a cheap morphing potion.

Ok, these are my suggestions! 

Kougra.   Maybe Halloween, maybe not, because all kougra are awesome... I might be slightly bias.  Okay, a lot bias.
 

I finally found the energy to schedule all of my doctor's appointments today; PCP, psych, and gastro.. I see my PCP this week and the psych in a couple of weeks. The kicker is that I have to wait until the end of July to see the gastro doctor. I don't want to wait that long to see him, especially since I can't eat anything without getting sick.. but hopefully my PCP will help me figure something out until I my gastro appointment.. *sigh* curse medical problems.
 
UPDATE: I'm able to eat again without getting sick! I wonder if it was mostly due to anxiety. I saw the psychiatrist yesterday and was put on Lexapro and Abilify. Now just gotta push through the terrible side effects for the next two weeks until I go back.

It really sucks. I have a few side accounts but the three are are of my four favorites ?

I'm Miche and I am slowly making my return to both TDN forums and Neopets! It's been quite a few years since I have been on TDN but I have been on and off of Neopets in that time. I've been away because school has taken up most of my life but I will have completed by degree in April. With that said I am excited to have lots of time open in the near future to get my accounts more active and to chat and help out anyone in need! Settle in for a long story, or skip to the tldr; at the bottom
My roommate and I moved to a new apartment in September, and after living there for a couple of months we ended up with mice. We tried for several weeks to get the landlord/building super to do something about it, but they wouldn't. (Welcome to renting in NYC...) Anyway. We set a bunch of traps, which helped a bit but didn't solve the root of the problem. Eventually we decided that what we needed was a cat to either hunt the mice, or at least drive them out of the apartment. We didn't know anyone with a cat that we could borrow, so we signed up for a cat fostering program through the ASPCA. (Do you see where this story is going?) After a couple of weeks, we were given a cat to foster. Her name was Smiley, she was four months old, and she was recovering from a severe ear infection and spay surgery. She just needed a quiet place to rest for a couple of weeks while healing before she would go back to the shelter and be put up for adoption. 
Smiley adjusted very quickly--she loved to play with toys, sit in my lap, and follow me all around the apartment. She was so well behaved, always using her litter box and never scratching on anything she shouldn't. Well, after having her for about a week and a half, she had to go back to the shelter for a check-up with the vet to make sure her surgeries were healing well. So I dropped her off and anxiously waited to hear when I could pick her up again for the remainder of her fostering. Several days later, I finally heard back and they said that she had healed enough not to need any more fostering, and that after a few more days she would be put up for adoption. 
I was so heartbroken! I'm actually pretty embarrassed about how quickly I got attached to this cat. The thought that she wouldn't be coming back to me (when I had originally been told she would still need a few more weeks of foster care), and that I hadn't even said a real goodbye to her (again, because I thought she was coming back within a day or two) was just devastating. So...I spent the long weekend we just had convincing my roommate to let me adopt her for real. My roommate (bless her, she never stood a chance) finally relented on Monday night, and on Tuesday I contacted the foster agency to put a reserve on Smiley.
They contacted me back right away and said that they had reserved her for me, and just this afternoon I got a call saying that she was ready to pick up! I'm going to go get her this evening after work. I'm so so so excited! And also nervous! This will be my first pet that's actually mine and not just a family pet. I've wanted a pet of my own for so long, and was always waiting for 'the right time,' which of course never comes. I feel like this was fate! I did a lot of research over the last week or so about the kind of care cats require (I've only ever had dogs) and the cost of their upkeep, and everything feels very manageable as far as time and expenses. I feel like a cat will fit well with my lifestyle. It's a big step forward for me, but I'm sure I can handle it! And I can't wait to have Smiley with me for many years to come. 
(Oh, and I think Smiley is a completely ridiculous name, so as soon as I go get her, she will be renamed Josephine--Josie for short--after Napoleon's wife.) 
tldr; I'm adopting a kitty and I get to pick her up today!
