Is neopets still down I have tryed for a hour now with no luck

my avatars on neopets is 51. I got  the pteri darigan today

I got the neomail addict avatar on my side account,I  have yet to get it on my main. I got the nightstead avatar on my main now.

I've not had that RE for a while (shows I've not been playing Sakhmet Solitaire much lately!) it's amazing when it happens, isn't it!

I just bought those today for EEEEE in one purchase . I haven't really tried stocks besides that 1,000 shares in one company today

I buy 1000 shares a day from a single stock at a time. I pay 15-17K (if there are none available in that range I don't buy).
Over the years I've also purchased 1 (ONE) share from each one of the available stocks. That way I can look at my portfolio and see the values of ALL of Neopia's stocks. I never sell the single share. So all my stocks shares are like 12001, 8001, 16001, 2001, or, if I've sold off in full for profit...just 1. Hope that makes sense.
I've been using this method for years. I usually don't SELL until it hits 90+, so my Stock Portfolio is like another bank account.

I sold a few hours ago when it was at 81. It would've been nice to get those extra few nps if I had waited until 85, but no regrets here! It had been at 76 a few days ago and I meant to sell, but got distracted and by the time I came back to the page the price had dropped again. So I already got more than I was expecting by selling at 81. A nice 400k that I wasn't expecting~

I'm going to echo @balloongal247 and @Duma and say start with the Pirate Academy until you're booted out and go to the Mystery Island School.
Like Duma I refuse to buy codestones I need for training and get them all from the battledome. I only keep 5 of every type of codestone. If I get extras I sell those in my shop. Any reds I get, I also sell and I try to sell a bit lower then what I see on the Show Wiz so I can make some fast money.
Now lets see if anything plot related is released this afternoon at news time.

I'm excited; can't wait to see where this is heading For once, I've been following through my new year resolution and have been training my pet regularly so I'm hoping to get a wee bit further as compared to my previous events.
@Jena92 From what TNT has been hinting, it seems very likely that there would be some battling element :)
 

Have you had a look at your avatar list again to see if it's still checked off? The last time my sig never updated I found the box wasn't actually checked. I was pretty sure I had checked it but it didn't seem to have retained it, once I did it again it updated by the next day.
Maybe Neo's pink popcorn is Pepto-Bismol flavour. xD

I pretty much concur with what everyone else said. I'll buy anything that's 15np, I don't care which stock it is. I WILL NOT buy anything that cost more than that, even if it means I don't buy any stocks at all that day. I hoard them until they reach my selling point, which these days is 75. Under @jellysundae's tutelage, I have learned (somewhat) how to sit on my hands when I find myself with a case of itchy sell finger. 

I use the bargain stocks list (http://www.neopets.com/stockmarket.phtml?type=list&bargain=true) and I normally choose the company with the highest volume selling over 15 np (since you can't buy below 15 np) and buy my 1000 shares daily. Now that I have shares of 30+ companies I usually look at the stocks I have and buy 1000 more shares of something I have that's between 15-20 np. I hang onto my shares until they hit +300%. I'm always tempted to sell lower but I prefer to stick to my 300% rule. Everything goes up eventually! Right now my portfolio is trash but I'm hoping it turns around someday soon haha. Been a long time since I've been here. I've been playing Neopets since Year 1 and I'm thinking about getting into the NC item trading. I love Moehogs and have the most complete Moehog Gallery in Neopia (I still need a Moehog Skull.)
