I'm pretty sure I made out in the deal because I got 2 maraquan paint brushes from the WOE!!!
I also just got the Wheel of Monotony av but I didn't actually get it? The wheel says I got it but it's not in my av list and my count on my UL didn't go up... What the heck?!
EDIT: Hahahahaha I didn't get it because... I already have it -facepalm- I can't take me anywhere...

13 years ago (holy crap) I was obsessed with meowclops and my brother gave me one as a gift on my old main account. I'm pretty sure I cried the day that account was frozen

I believe it was from bots looking for accounts with UC Neopets and a lot of these accounts were hacked. The Captchas were put into place to prevent bots from acquiring information.
It certainly is possible. The best thing you can do to protect yourself from cookie grabbers is to simply log out when you are done on the site. This resets your cookies, so the ones that were grabbed become useless. Additionally if you have Firefox you can get an add-on called NoScript.

Good news is that there hasn't been a working cookie grabber in years so you don't need to worry about that.

I JUST RAN INTO THIS BEFORE I FOUND THIS THREAD AND I SCREAMED BECAUSE I WAS SO EXCITED!!!! Woke the baby up but totally worth it.
But I wasn't around when they first instituted the captchas... What abuse was going on that they decided they were necessary?

for me .. it was a Lord Kass Plushie that i won from BTY .. i remember that round was over in less than 10 minutes and it was my first ever trophy on Neopets (third place) ... it used to go for 500k at the time but now it's worth about 8 Million 
there was also a Eustabee petpet that I bought for 30k and now it ranges between 450k - 1 Mil

I did. And when I go to "My Avatar Counters", the counters there have the correct count but the one in my signature doesn't update

I got my Battleground: Awakened av today! And I painted one of my pets pink, pulled her out of the neolodge and am waiting for her to be hungry so I can get the Pink! av! Tomorrow probably xD

@mysteryfuzz Your counter's showing 243 for me now.

The tool is a great way to keep track of your avatars, and great for the long run, but you can also just look at your userlookup on neo and it'll tell you how many avs you have.  The TDN tracker is good for quickly checking if you have a certain one, or how to get something, or getting all the ones of a type, etc.

I don't think I've seen hair on a pet that I like. I find it kind of unsettling...? Like, that's not human but it's trying to be and it's creeping me out!

I am not now, nor have I ever been, a teenage boy but I have pillowcases that are similar to this  I have no idea how though since I have no matching sheets...

A single TDNer gaining an Obelisk avatar makes the rest of us losing worthwhile, even if you'd not joined the forum when we all chose our factions...pfft, semantics.

I'm not really a fan of Vandagyres but I really like the stealth Vandagyre!! I might be biased because I love stealth pets though...

I laughed so hard at this hahaha. I really feel like it shouldn't be so hard to not sell at 100-299% BUT SOMEHOW IT IS! 

WHAT! How did I never realize that Trudy's Surprise prizes increased until you got 100,000 and then started over??? I should probably be embarrassed?
