Glad I'm not the only one. There's no way to get that many pink ghosts in such few moves. I'm at 276 stars myself, so I guess I can pass the time by getting all the other levels to 3 stars.

I won't be maxing out games or anything, but hopefully I'll be able to rack up enough prize points to get the special team-specific items they release each year. Last year I spaced out and couldn't complete the set so I don't want to mess it up again.

Welcome everyone, young and old, to the The Daily Neopets' Coverage of the Altador Cup. I'm Miko, and let's get it started!

The Altador Cup is back for it's eleventh iteration, and this year is shaping out to be just as exciting as the last 10 years! Eighteen teams from all across Neopia duke it out in the great game of Yooyuball! The prize of the game remains the same - the title of Altador Champions and ownership of the coveted Altador Trophy! The next few weeks are bound to be filled with action and awe, so stick with The Daily Neopets for all the news and excitement.

Once again, the teams seems confident with the lineups as no major roster changes were reported. Names to watch out for are the Tyrannia Fossils and the Kreludor Moons, both teams having great standings in the cup last year. The Altador Suns are also an in a powerful position, gaining ground over the last few cups.

But the big match of the day is against last year's winners Kiko Lake and last year's losers Haunted Woods. The Zombies had quite the fall from first to last in AC X and are hungry to show that it was just a fluke. Likewise the Kikos as defending champions have much scrutiny on them, and a powerful title defense is expected from them.

Who will emerge from the crowd to claim the title this year? Will the Kikos defy odds once more and triumph over the Winner's Curse? Will the Suns continue their upwards rise and finally clinch the nomination? Will the old powerhouses get their act together to reclaim the title? Or will another underdog defy all odds and hand us another upset? Only time will tell, sports fans! This is Miko, signing off. Good night Neopia, and Let the Games Begin!

Well. Here we are. My friends, the long-awaited day has come. Every single one of you has worked your fingers to the bone in one capacity or another, and we've been glad to be right there with you every step of the way. This is Brooke, bringing you the very last report for the tenth Altador Cup, in our beloved studio here at The Daily Neopets. This occasion is so very bittersweet. Funnily enough, that word also describes this rather disappointing cup of coffee.

Without further adieu, I bring you the final results! The brooms certainly had the last laugh today, as every single one of today's nine matches ended in a sweep.

The Alabriss bracket brought us three entirely expected shutouts. First, the Kikos went up against the Mummies. Kiko Lake finished out the year with one last sweep, with only a single blemish on their record. The Lost Desert has had a fairly good year as well, only being swept themselves a handful of times.

The match between the Darigan Citadel and Moltara brought us our second sweep. The last time these two went head-to-head, the Magmas managed a single win. Today, however, the Minions got the best of them. The Magmas have ended the Cup with not a single sweep to show for it. But there's always next year!

The last match of the last Alabracket showed Meridell coming up against the Haunted Woods. The Zombies have fallen far from their win in last year's cup, and just couldn't catch a break Today was no exception, as they fell prey to the Knights' superior skills. Again. Last time they pulled off at least a draw, but this time they had no such luck. The Knights, however, have had their best round yet to finish off the year!

Next up, the Minitheus bracket! I'd ask Midtime to do it, but they went undercover as a slushie vendor earlier today and they haven't come back yet. I hope they're okay...

Anyway. The Minitheus bracket brought us some interesting matchups as well. Maraqua marched into the final match with their heads held high and filled with visions of beating back the fearsome Fossils. But Tyrannia surprised no one when they completely shut out the Mermaids. They've suffered sweeps only twice this year, at the hands of the Kikos.

Shenkuu took on Mystery Island next. The Natives ran roughshod over the unprepared Ninjas, who won only a single game in the last three rounds combined. Ouch. The Natives, however, were thrilled to end things on a high note with their third sweep of the year.

The culminating matchup of the Minitheus bracket fell to Krawk Island and Virtupets. The Robots landed a sweep today, making for an even fifth of their total days of play. The Pirates ultimately did them one better, managing six sweeps total.

Last but not least, let's cruise through the Vaeolus bracket.

Joining the ranks of the (highly unofficial) five-sweeps club today was Brightvale as they took on Altador and summarily drove them into the ground. The Suns were a few steps behind the Wizards as they earned just two sweeps this year. Perhaps they'll shine brighter next year?

Next, the Rooligans staged an epic comeback against the Faeries, who beat them in two of four events in round three. This time around, Roo Island swept Faerieland under the rug with extreme prejudice. The Faeries didn't attain a single sweep all year, but they did pull off some pretty impressive wins against teams they've been flattened by before.

And now the absolute last result I will deliver to you, my friends! Kreludor swept Terror Mountain, were only swept twice (by the Kikos, surprise surprise), and are generally feeling good about themselves. The Chillers were close behind, swept only thrice, and definitely have their own triumphs to celebrate today.

So. That's the last matchup. And what a year it's been! I'll turn things over to Matt, who will give us the final standings overall, from the bottom of the heap all the way to the top tier! Take us out, Matt!

After twenty-five days of intense gameplay, Altador Cup X has finally ended! This is Matt, live from the studio with the results of the final rankings for each team! It is time to crown another winner, and we'll find out which team that is in a moment. But first, in order to build up suspense, I'll be revealing rankings from bottom to top! So as to not waste any of your precious time, let's get started with the eighteenth place team!

Coming in eighteenth were the Zombies who were dealt a major blow by the "Winner's Curse" in this year's Cup. After starting off the first round with a sprinkle of wins, Haunted Woods was unable to find any green for four days, and they had continuous dry streaks throughout this Cup. However, with the brunt of the curse over with, fans should expect the Zombies to stage a comeback in next year's Cup.

Next in seventeenth we have Moltara! Although the Magmas had a rough start to the tournament, they were able to pick up some wins by the middle of the Cup. Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise were the Magmas' strong points throughout this tournament where they earned five wins, higher than many analysts were predicting. Overall, the Magmas exceeded expectations, and we'll have to wait and see until next year if they're able to make a splash like they have done before.

Our next four teams were separated by only four points! It was a close fight to rise out of the lower tiers. Rounding out the bottom three in sixteenth place with forty-two points were the Robots. Although the Robots had a rough start to the tournament, by the fourth round they were able to get their engines going and gather up wins. They might not be the same podium performing team as they were last year, but the Robots had notable moments with their two-time victory against Krawk Island, and the tie with Tyrannia in Make Some Noise. The Robots have shown that they are capable of holding their own against powerhouse teams, but they'll need to work on their bracket performances if they wish to make a comeback in next year's tourney.

In fifteenth place with forty-three points are the Mystery Island Natives! The Natives may have dropped from their eleventh place finish from last year, but they're still as strong as ever. Holding their own against Krawk Island twice, and defeating the Minions the second time around, the Natives were a force to be reckoned with this year. However, the Natives are in the same boat as the Robots. With excellent performances in the four games all around, they'll need to figure out how to rise up in the bracket standings to rack up more points.

Brightvale is next coming in fourteenth place with forty-four points! The Wizards were one of the best lower middle teams in this tournament. They gained notable recognition among all the teams when Monticeto led his team to a fantastic 12-7 win in Yooyuball against the Kikos, ruining their near perfect tournament record. Although the Wizards placed lower than expected, they'll forever be etched into the annuls of Altador Cup history!

Rounding out the bottom six was Faerieland with forty-five points! The Faeries made team history this Cup coming in thirteenth, the highest ever placing for the long standing underdog team! The Faeries' yooyuball skills were much more refined in this year's Cup, earning them crucial points. The Faeries win record in Yooyuball came close to Altador Cup greats like Krawk Island, Darigan Citadel, and Roo Island. Outperforming many of the other underdog teams, it may be time for the Faeries to leave their underdog title behind and aspire to greater heights!

After their drastic drop to the bottom of the pack in last year's Cup, the Suns are slowly rising back up with a twelfth place finish! They were well rounded in this year's Cup, earning four wins in each of the four games. While it may not be the podium performing team we saw in Altador Cup VIII, it is a step in the right direction. Similar to the Faeries, it may be time for the suns to shed off their underdog title and pass on that torch.

Shenkuu rose up in the standings to claim an eleventh place finish in this year's Cup with fifty-three points, only one ahead of the Suns' fifty-two. The Ninjas started out the tournament with strong victories in the first round, mainly in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown. However, they struggled by the third round, going on a long dry streak that ended after their win in Slushie Slinger against the Robots in the fifth round. Shenkuu will need to improve in stamina during the off-season in order to continue to rise in the standings. This year's finish will be a stepping stone for the Ninjas to improve in the future.

Heading into the middle tiers, Maraqua performed consistently throughout the entire tournament, landing them a safe tenth place finish. An improvement from last years' twelfth place finish, the Mermaids will be looking to once again rise up in next year's Cup. With notable victories against Darigan Citadel and twice against the Pirates, this final rank was well-deserved, but the Mermaids will need to improve their Yooyuball skills slightly to improve their overall rank.

Darigan Citadel came in ninth place, making team history, albeit, the wrong type of history. This year's finish marks the first time the Minions have finished below seventh place. With a great start to the tournament, the Minions' lost steam in the fourth and fifth round, struggling to gain any victories, only finding success against underdog teams. This seems to be a constant issue for the Minions, who will need to address this during the off-season if they wish to be the powerhouse team that they once were.

Meridell finished in eighth place with seventy-seven points, tied with Krawk Island. Although it was only a jump up one spot from last year's Cup finish of ninth, the Knights showed many signs of improvement. Meridell will be a team to watch out for in next year's Cup, as they're slowly improving and rising to the upper tiers. The Knights hit a rough patch in the middle of the tourney, so they'll have to figure out how to overcome that issue.

With seventy-seven points, the Pirates finished in seventh place! Like the Knights, this finish is a one up from last year's Cup. This may mark the beginning of a return for the Pirates, and with consistent performances throughout this Cup the only area the Pirates will need to focus on is dealing with powerhouse teams. Krawk Island has certainly proved rumors that they've past their prime as false, and will be working even harder to rise up and be the powerhouse team they once were.

After their three-way tie for thirteenth last year, Roo Island made a significantly large jump up the standings to land in sixth place! They performed excellently in this year's Cup, especially in the side games where they were able to obtain their majority of wins. Although their Yooyuball skills could use some polishing, the Rooligans excelled in Make Some Noise. However, we've seen this pattern before with the Rooligans, and if history will indeed repeat itself, the Rooligans are in for a rough season next year.

The Chillers also were able to break a previous team record by finishing fifth in this year's Cup. With average scores of 7's and 8's throughout the entire tournament, the Chillers were known for their side game prowess. Only losing three games in Make Some Noise and Shootout Showdown, the Chillers were a force to be reckoned with! If they can make a few changes to improve their Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger performances, their chances at a podium finish in next year's Cup will improve. Will they be able to scale the daunting mountain?

Like the Rooligans, the Mummies made a drastic jump in the standings and finished in fourth this year. Although the Mummies won less game compared to the Chillers, they were consistent throughout the entire Cup. The Mummies started off the Cup strong, winning thirteen of fifteen matches overall in the first three rounds of gameplay. They faltered slightly in the fourth round, but regained their groove in the fifth, finishing the tournament with solid overall results across the board. The Mummies have been bouncing in between upper and lower tier finishes, so spectators will be wondering if the Mummies will suffer a drop in the standings in next year's Cup.

Now it's time for the teams who placed on the podium! It was a tough fight as there were many podium contenders in this year's Cup, but these three teams were able to best the rest of the competition! Tyrannia finished in third, taking home the bronze this year! After their win in Altador Cup VIII, the Fossils are still going strong with a fourth place finish in Altador Cup IX and now a third place finish. With only a handful of losses throughout the entire tournament, the Fossils steamrolled through the competition to take the well deserved podium finish. Tyrannia was able to beat down the "winner's curse", and still perform consistently. Will they be able to take the Cup yet again next year?

After their two-time seventh place finish in Altador Cup VIII and IX, the Moons have graced the podium with their presence once again finishing just short of first place. Kreludor performed very well throughout the entire Cup, only losing a handful of games to the other podium finishers. The Moons were also known for their side game prowess averaging results of 8's and 9's. Although they aren't as immune to the "winner's curse" as the Fossils are, the Moons are still a strong team that has a chance to aim for the Cup once again in next year's tourney.

Now, the moment that you've all been waiting for! The winner of the tenth annual Altador Cup is none other than Kiko Lake! The Kikos dominated the rest of the teams in this year's Cup, gathering a seventeen day win streak before Brightvale came along. Only dropping one game this entire season, the Kikos were just short of a tournament record twenty-five day win streak. However, the Kikos did set new side game records this year with high scores of twenty in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown, and a mind-boggling score of thirty in Make Some Noise. The Techo would certainly be proud! The big question on everyone's mind currently is the "winner's curse", and how badly it'll affect the Kikos, if at all. However, all will be revealed next year, and as for now the Kikos will enjoy celebrating this magnificent victory with some treats from the lake! I know the staff here at The Daily Neopets will certainly be enjoying the festivities.

I think some of the most epic games came from the rivalries that used to exist between teams. I feel like those don't really happen anymore. Haunted Woods vs Darigan Citadel? Krawk Island vs Roo Island? You were always guaranteed a fierce showdown. The wildcards of Shenkuu and Maraqua? The second you thought you were in the easy lane, they'd flip you right over and make some great upsets.

I also think epic showdowns don't really happen anymore due to the removal of the elimination bracket rounds. It always made you pick sides, haha (go Kreludor!).

It's time again, my friends, to review the results of today's matches at the Altador Cup! This is Brooke, reporting from the studio for The Daily Neopets. We've got another set of exciting results for you, served up with a smile. Or... you know, a smirk. Or whatever expression we slap on. Depends on the caffeine intake, really. Anyway, let's get on with the Alabriss bracket!

We kicked things off today with a match between Mummies and Pirates. The Lost Desert has been having quite a year, and today marked their first sweep of the round. Krawk Island are coming down off the high of their sweep yesterday against Faerieland. The Mummies are keeping a death grip on their spot on the podium, but the Fossils are right on their heels. We'll be watching with baited breath!

The second match of the bracket saw Meridell and Faerieland go head-to-head. The Knights were poised today to take their third sweep of the year, but the Faeries snuck up on them in the slushie tents. Metaphorically, of course! The Faeries forced a draw with their highest score of the day, robbing the Knights of the opportunity for a sweep.

The bracket finished off with a clash between the Chillers and the Natives. Terror Mountain is a force to be reckoned with on the Yooyuball field, but Teylor Nix and Volgoth, forwards for Mystery Island, gave them a run for their money. The match resulted in a draw. The resources of the Natives were spent, however, and the rest of the events went to the Chillers.

As Midtime is busy today, most likely increasing their already astoundingly large vocabulary, I'll be taking the Minitheus bracket as well. Onward!

Brooms abound in the Minitheus bracket today; every single match-up ended in a sweep! None of the results were received with much surprise, but we're reporting them anyway. So hold onto your dust bunnies, people!

Moltara went up against Kreludor to start things off, and got their backsides handed to them. The Moons nearly double the Magmas' scores in every event. The results of the match between Tyrannia and Haunted Woods were much the same. And in the match between Virtupets and Altador, the Suns' heat was no match for the Robots. Sweeps across the board.

So that's the first two brackets! The really interesting stuff is yet to come, however. I'll turn things over to Matt for the Vaeolus bracket and the matches to watch. Talk to me, Matt!

[Brooke claps Matt solidly on the shoulder, nearly knocking him from his chair. She quickly helps him right himself and apologizes. She then folds her hands demurely and looks expectantly at Matt.]

Thanks Brooke! I have the results from the Vaeolus Bracket with me right at this moment, so let's get started.

Despite their rough start in the fourth round, the Minions were able to gather themselves and pull off a clean sweep in today's match against the Ninjas. This marks the Minions' fifth sweep of the entire tournament, not as impressive this far into the tournament. Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Shootout Showdown were very close in terms of scores. The Ninjas barely lost all three games, the final score only differing by one point. Shenkuu fought hard against the Minions, and they will need to continue to do so against the Wizards in today's match. Does this sweep mark the beginning of a winning run for the Minions? It'll be difficult for the Minions to capitalize on this momentum as they're up against the Mermaids, who are sure to give them a rough time. While we're on the topic of the Mermaids, they suffered a loss against Roo Island today as the Rooligans were able to pull off a side sweep. However, all was not lost for the Mermaids as they were able to come back and tie in Yooyuball, preventing a full sweep.

Moving on to our last matchup of the day, Kiko Lake and Brightvale went head to head against each other today. Like usual, the Kikos were able to cleanly sweep the Wizards, dominating in all the gam...

[Brooke leans over and whispers something into Matt's ear.]

What! Excuse me? Brightvale did what now?

[Matt shuffles his papers around and quickly gets rearranged.]

You'll have to excuse me as it seems Brightvale has done the impossible in today's match. The Wizards were definitely able to conjure up some magic on the yooyuball field today as they annihilated the Kikos! Brightvale is the first team to end the Kiko's winning streak which reached up to an impressive seventeen. To no surprise, the Kikos were able to side-sweep the Wizards; however, Brightvale has brightened up the Kikos' tournament records with a splash of red. The Wizards took advantage of the Kikos' weakness in Yooyuball and have proven to the rest of the teams that no one team is invincible. This loss will probably prompt the Kikos to be even more fierce in the upcoming days, but for now, fans and players of Brightvale will be celebrating this fantastic victory.

Moving onto our matches to watch, the underdogs of the Cup Altador and Moltara will be facing against each other for the first time in this year's Cup. Based on previous days' scores, the Magmas have a slight advantage and are predicted to take the overall victory. However, the Suns have been able to push successfully before. Will they be able to do so again in today's match? Brightvale and Shenkuu will also be going head to head today. Both teams are evenly matched on the yooyuball field, however, the Wizards have the advantage in the side games and should be able to pull off at least a side sweep, if not take the whole match. Shenkuu has done well in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown before, can they pull off another upset?

For our final match to watch of this report, the battle between air and sea will commence in today's matchup between the Mermaids and the Minions. Maraqua is predicted to win Yooyuball and Make Some Noise while the Minions take Slushie Slinger. Based on previous scores, Shootout Showdown could go to either of the two teams. The Minions have to step up their game today or else they risk being defeated by the Mermaids.

That wraps up our report! Now, if you'll excuse me, I've been informed that I should save my appetite for tomorrow. I wonder what our staff has in store, maybe if I'm lucky I'll snag a few snacks from our break room. Anyways, that's it for us, this is Matt signing off!

I've been watching a ton of the Women's World Cup on tv, which is pretty fun to do while playing YYB (c'mon, goals are easy to make!). On the days there aren't any sports, I find some movies to watch. Like yesterday, I watched all three of the old Jurassic Park movies. When my eyes don't want to deal with two screens at once, podcasts are definitely the way to go.

The bonus tag means that playing it counts more towards your team winning than usual. Of course, it's pretty abstract like most of the AC scoring system...

As far as the lag, you should refresh after 80-90 plays in the same window (at least, that's where I usually have to do it). Eventually it'll slow down really hard and if the goalie catches the ball, it'll disappear. XD

I still remember in the old version of YYB (where the pitch didn't scroll back and forth so you can see the entire field at once) the darigan yooyu was much more predictable, so there was actually a sweet spot you could shoot from and it would score it. I basically still play that way, only it hardly ever works lol. Then when it misses I just shoot from nearby willy-nilly.

I have no idea how I got here so quickly, but I'm at rank 10. I also finished all the episodes of Steven Universe while playing.

HELLOOOOO, SPORTS FANS! And welcome back to TDN's coverage of the tenth Altador Cup! This is Brooke, reporting from the studio, where just about everyone is feeling refreshed and well-rested after the bye day. Or, if they're like me, they feel more groggy and cranky than ever! Hooray! So let's get on with round two.

The second round in the Alabriss bracket kicked off with sweeps galore as the new sets of teams went head-to-head. The sweeps started with the Lost Desert and the Darigan Citadel. The Mummies have only gone one day without a sweep so far this year, and today was not that day. The Minions were buried under the impressively consistent scores of the Mummies, making for a rocky start to the second round.

Next up, the Zombies and the Pirates did battle in a scene rivalling any zombie-apocalypse-swashbuckling-crossover film we've ever seen. The scores were close, but ultimately Krawk Island came out on top, pushing the struggling Haunted Woods further back in the pack. Despite their victory last year, the Zombies have been fighting to stay afloat, and currently sit in the bottom of the standings. The Pirates have had their struggles as well, but overall, they're not doing too badly at all.

In the third pairing of the Alabriss bracket, powerhouse Tyrannia took on the Ninjas. The Fossils now stand in third place overall, so it comes as no surprise that they brandished their brooms and took Shenkuu down on all fronts. The Ninjas haven't really contended for the Cup since AC IV, but they may yet hearken back to the glorious years preceding that, where they were a force to be reckoned with. Tyrannia has only had one podium finish in the history of the games, but they can certainly be intimidating!

Now, if my illustrious colleague has not locked him in another broom closet, I'd like to hand things over to Midtime for the next bracket. Midtime?

"Thank you, Brooke. I can gladly say that for now I walk free, if not exactly in the company of Matt at any time in the foreseeable future. After a meeting with our manager, I will also be making a concerted effort to link any jokes or wordplays I make to relevant current events. Now, let us not keep the Minitheus bracket results locked away any longer.

"Team Meridell, who have thus far triumphed over every other team they have met, did not flag in their match against Moltara today. Although the Knights played the same solid game as usual, the benches saw surprisingly little turnout for their supporters. Magma fans, few but earnest as ever, scored well in Make Some Noise, denying Meridell what could have been their second sweep of the season. Our interviewer described Moltara captain Aldric Beign as "stoically cheerful" when questioned about his team's performance, as well as "smelling distinctly of dust and expired bleach". Oh, my mistake. They were in fact talking about me in that last part.

"The Kreludor Moons, also undefeated in Round One, saw their week-long sweep streak come to a jarring end at the hands of this year's Cup favourites, Kiko Lake. The Moons certainly gave better on the field than most other teams have managed to, but the Kikos were unflagging, and the ferocity of their offence won out at last. Fans of the Moons were far from ecstatic at the resulting sweep, and many are looking to the team's game against the Faeries tomorrow to reaffirm their hopes for the championship.

"After ending the previous round with three straight losses, the Faeries have made a determined push back, edging Brightvale out at Yooyuball with a narrow 5-4. The match ended to much cheering on the part of Faerieland's fans - something you might have heard yourself if you happened to be anywhere in Altador at the time, and not in some sort of chamber insulated against sound, such as a broom closet. With so many strong contenders in the bracket, both the Faeries and the Wizards seem set for a very difficult second round.

"That is all for the new Minitheus bracket! We'll go to Matt for the remainder of today's report, while I finish meticulously praising his on-site performance in the weekly report I am penning to higher management. Pax vobiscum!"

Thanks Midtime, I see you've managed to free yourself...

[Matt mumbles something about installing a better lock for the closet.]

Anyways, the Vaeolus Bracket, which has undergone changes for this new round has mainly been filled with mid-tier teams. As there are no serious contenders for the Cup in the bracket, matches will be much more unpredictable! Spectators have already seen that sweeps will be uncommon for the next five days. With my trusty babysitter at my side, let's dive straight into the results!

Terror Mountain was able to pull off the only sweep of the bracket, cleanly defeating the Suns in all areas. The Suns' performance on the Yooyuball field paled in comparison to the Chillers'. Terror Mountain was once again able to make some noise as their loud cheers could be heard from the next stadium down! Although the Chillers have a medium fanbase compared to the powerhouse teams, Prytariel and her team were definitely able to rile up the crowd in yesterday's match. Coming off of their win against the Suns, the Chillers will face a more difficult opponent in the Robots.

Mystery Island and Roo Island faced off on the Yooyuball field yesterday, and while the Natives were able to take a close victory in Yooyuball, the Rooligans were able to pull off a side sweep. Similarly, Maraqua sideswept the Robots in yesterday's match, shorting out their circuits in the side games. Yooyuball was back and forth between the Mermaids and the Robots throughout the match, and after a magnificent goal by Virtupets Team Captain, Keetra Deile to tie up the match, officials ruled the match a draw after regulation time was finished. All four teams will be searching for an opportunity to overtake Terror Mountain in the bracket standings. From this point on, most teams have shaken off their Altador Cup jitters and are now starting to buckle down and focus on earning as many points as possible within the next few weeks.

Transitioning to our interesting matches of the day, we take a look at the match between Terror Mountain and Virtupets. This match will definitely be hard to predict given the Robots' tendency to perform erratically. Terror Mountain seems to have the advantage in today's matchup, but the Robots are a fierce team that is not to be underestimated. Spectators should also keep their eyes on the match between Krawk Island and Shenkuu. With excellent performances in Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown so far in this Cup, the Ninjas will be a challenge for the Pirates, who have not been performing at their full potential. Will this match be a wake up call for the Pirates? Find out in tomorrow's report!

That is all for our report today. This is Matt live from the studio signing off.

I went for Senor Malo and DJ Skellington for forwards, Kikocat and Bancha Ninja for defenders, and Breik for goalie who's been a really good choice in the past. If one of the other newbies turns out to be a superstar I'll definitely switch to them in the next round.
