Hey guys, anybody here playing Ghoul Catchers for level progression? Just wondering what level you guys got stuck, because I'm at level (or House) 88 where I have to clear out 35 purple ghouls and I can tell that it's super hard thanks to urns and few certain ghouls showing up in the grid. I've been on that level like many times today. I think the number of moves isn't enough, and I've spent all the free +5 moves in that level but still won't hit the 35 purple ghoul mark...
So I've never been a fighter in the battledome and just recently decided I was going to start training my pet so I can get the avies that come with beating certain opponents. I've looked at many articles about training and most are just telling me where and how much I can train my pets for, what I need to train my pets, and what weapons are good to have; all of which I know. What I'd like to know is what exactly is the way to go? I realize that strength, defense, endurance, and speed all say what they do and what they upgrade on your pet, but what does level do? Does it upgrade all of these (except endurance). Is it best to just work on endurance and level or do the other ones need to be upgraded individually? Thanks for the help! I've been around Neopets for awhile, but I have never fought in the battledome, it's never interested me haha This topic has been edited by a member of staff (hrtbrk). I just started using the battledome on a consistent basis and I was wondering if/when it is worth it to train my battledome pet in level or if it is better to leave levelling up to Coltzan, the lab ray, etc. My pet is currently level 22
Has anyone yet determined how opponent toughness (normal/ strong/ mighty) and opponent level (seems to correspond to HP) contribute to which faction wins the skirmish? What is the equivalence between the levels of opponent? In other words, how many Normal Cunning Masterminds must I smash to make as much impact as defeating a Normal Duchess? How many Mighty Unchained Monsters equal a Normal Lanie and Lillie (you know, as far as those to can be normal)?
