EDIT: YESYES!!!! i finally figured it out! they're called rebuses by the way. it helps getting a bit of practice with other problems before you try this one. still, read it out loud! it is like, the key to the puzzle. I got the first puzzle after 4 hours of 'headache'! :P I'm so happy! Yep, there is a pattern indeed, but it's certainly not an obvious one. On to the second puzzle... Edit: Yay!
