Parry Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 The game works like thus; one person, or the leader, thinks of a five letter word, and everyone else has to guess what that word is. Whoever gets it right becomes the leader and then posts another five letter word, etc. e.g. Let's say I'm the leader, and my word is ROUGH. Someone then guesses TORCH: _ _ _ _ _ TORCH (2, 1, 2) In the parenthesis, the first number shows how many right letters are in the right position; the second shows how many right letters are in the wrong position; and the third shows how many letters are wrong. Let's say somebody then guesses TOUCH: _ _ _ _ _ TORCH (2, 1, 2) TOUCH (3, 0, 2) Therefore, the next person can deduce that the U is correct, that there is an R in the word the leader is thinking of, and that out of TOCH, two of those words are correct.
